I like making them while camping in the pie iron. I butter it up well as well as the bread, them load it with corned beef, predrained sauerkraut, some provolone then serve with some thousand island always hits so good late at night when you are drunk. Also it's a good way to use up leftover corned beef from st patrick's day.

Hey OP. I got a story for you.About a decade ago I moved out to denver colorado. With no job lol. eventually i walked into some random restaurant right outside of downtown, and got hired on the spot after talking to the chef. Turned out to be one of the top 10 restaurants at the time. Anyway, side tangent...i was just a prep cook/salad station guy with no school training....only on job and took culinary art classes all through high school. Everyone was ether in or had graduated from culinary school. That kinda made me realized i saved a shit ton of money from not going. Anyway, my shift meal was always their reuben and sweet pot chips. Anyway, the chef turned out to be a major dick head i remember one day he talked shit about me because i called the sauce they used on it thousand island
