I got a bunch of ground beef. I just eat the cooked ground beef while I'm cutting weight. But I have too much to eat before it spoils. Should I cook then freeze? Break it up into small sections and freeze raw?

I buy in bulk and freeze it.

Break up and freeze, then thaw and cook.
I like to put it in gallon zip locks and roll them then before freezing so its like a beef sheet. They stack in the freezer and thay fast.

do you have to thaw the sheets, or can you just cook it frozen?

I put one handful ground beef into a freezer bag, squish it flat and then seal. I can store at least a dozen patties like this in a small freezer. Then when I wanna cook them I just microwave defrost

>like a beef sheet
>thawed for the very first time

You can definitely cook it straight from frozen, but it'll take longer and cook unevenly. Certainly better to thaw it out but if you're not picky you can do it.

portion raw then freeze. Remember to put it in an airtight container so minimise freezer burn.

>a full dollar and twenty cents higher than supermarkets
Why in the shitting fuck of a cunt does anyone shop at this brown-infested shithole? Bad prices, limited selection and full of browns.
>but the gas!
Not a selling point when pretty much every supermarket offers gas discounts these days.

take them out of the freezer the night before you want to use it.
If they're in plastic watertight bags, you can also put the bag into a bowl of COLD water, and replace the water every 10 minutes, it'll be ready to cook in less than an hour.

how did you even post here OP? being so stupid.

This, but sprinkle the meat instead of rolling, it cooks much better when it's not a solid sheet.
