I hate chicken. Pretty much all birds, but chicken is something I just can't eat. Ive tried many ways but it just isnt happening. What common food do you just not like? It would be interesting to see what you all don't like. My friend hates French fries because of the taste of the oil , so funny how we don't think about different tastes on popular foods.
>>22025628pretty much all of them. I can’t remember the last time I ate something that wasn’t a cheez it or a gold fish. somewhere around 2010?
pork, nasty texture
>>22025648embarassing self-report
>>22025628is that catken real
>>22025639Goldfish are good. I approve.
>>22025661A colorado thing I think. Smell like catnip though.
Pork. Not a Muslim, but it takes way too long for me to digest even a little. I also avoid oils and fried foods because they make me feel like shit.
pork, I don't like how it smells like fat guy ass sweat
>>22025662
>>22025702What kind of ass sweat have you been huffing?
>>22025661that's a pussycock
>>22025628I hate chicken and beans.
>>22025628>What common food do you just not like?Mushrooms. Blue cheese. Peanut butter.
enchiladas, i hate enchiladas, who the fuck wants to eat soggy tortilla drenched in tomatillo sauce???
>>22025628Chat? This real?
>>22025702it should not smell like anything. when you first remove it from vacuum pack, some factory pork will have a smell, but it should go away after a minute. pastured pork doesnt usually have this smell.
>>22025750This. Pork should just have a clean smell.
>>22025750factory or pasture it doesn't mater. the smell comes from sulfur containing molecules present in the heme. normally, those molecules oxidize in the presence of air rendering them odorless but in a vacuum pack, they're allowed to exist for a while until you open it.
>>22025735>tomatillo saucesome pseud is scamming you. not even real mexicans use tomatillo sauce for enchiladas. enchiladas should be slopped in red, brown, or occasionally yellow or white. but never green.
>>22025628My parents used to make me eat steak cooked extremely rare for dinner almost every day and now I won’t eat it.
Pasta
>>22025757interesting. i guess the pastured pork i got just hadnt sat in the pack very long because it had no smell compared to like a big grocer pork butt.
>>22025764it may have been fresh, freezing the meat creates a bunch of ice crystals that tears apart the muscle fibers releasing more heme which in turn leads to a stronger smell.
>>22025762Pasta is overrated for sure. Not worth the hype at all. Poor tier.
Butter. Grew up in a Mennonite household where it was used in damn near everything, but the unsalted variety. It wore on me.
>>22025628Coffee. Maybe because I've only ever had shitty American coffee. I like how it smells, but I can't stand the taste.
>>22025628Steaks of all kinds. I've never saw the appeal of a giant slab of meat (no matter the animal) on a plate, There's no way you're getting seasoning all the way through it so you have to cut and dip each piece in whatever pan sauce you are serving it with.
>>22025628Your mom
>>22025628Burritoes.
>>22026440kek. too many layers of humor for /ck/ to appreciate though
>>22026443this. i don't like that it's all wrapped up. there could be cum in there.
>>22025628Mayo. Tastes like BO and ruins everything it touches
>>22026465I hated it as a kid, but older I don't mind it.

Chicken is foul.

>>22025735meone of my favorite foods
>>22025628Vinegar and vinegar-adjecent foods. Ketchup, mustard, pickles, salad dressing, salt & vinegar chips, that sort of thing. A vinegar marinade is totally fine after grilling (love me some Chiavetta's). Hot sauce is fine, which I think is a bit weird considering my hatred for ketchup. It is just the overpowering flavor of vinegar itself that I don't like. I do genuinely wish I enjoyed it. I try it every once in a while to see if my tastes have changed, and so far I still hate it. It is the one and only thing I am picky over, and the worst bit is that it covers a pretty large amount of condiments and toppings.
>>22025762Why? Is it a texture thing?
