I have just figured out how to make pizza hut's burnin' hot buffalo sauce.
>>
>>22025818
imagine eating pizza hut wings and thinking “I need to recreate this at home”
>>
>>22025818
do tell
>>
½ cup (about 4–5 oz) Frank's RedHot Original cayenne pepper sauce
¼ cup (½ stick) unsalted butter (or margarine for a closer clone)
1–2 tablespoons white vinegar (start with 1; adds the signature tang)
1 tablespoon cayenne pepper (adjust down for less heat, up for true "burnin'")
1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
1 teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon smoked or regular paprika
½ teaspoon chili powder
½ teaspoon sugar (or brown sugar/honey for subtle sweetness)
¼–½ teaspoon salt (to taste)
Optional extras for refinement (common in variations): Dash of Worcestershire sauce, ½–1 teaspoon
soy sauce, or a pinch of black/white pepper
>>
>>22025825
>Melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat (don't let it brown).
>Whisk in the Frank's RedHot, vinegar, and sugar until smooth.
>Stir in all the dry spices (cayenne, red pepper flakes, garlic powder, paprika, chili powder, and salt).
>Simmer on low for 3–5 minutes, stirring frequently. Do not boil this melds the flavors without separating.
>Taste and adjust: More cayenne/vinegar for heat/tang, more butter/sugar for richness/mildness.

sounds good

considering a 6 piece wings from pizza hut is $15, making them at home is a lot cheaper.
>>
>>22025825
>½–1 teaspoon soy sauce, or a pinch of black/white pepper
NGL I stopped reading when it got to this bit.
>>
>>22025818
thr burning hot buffalo wings are the only decent item at pizza hut, great wing sauce.
>>
>>22025825
I'll try this, I have never gotten a good buffalo wing sauce, the store bought ones are ass.
>>
>>22025818
Come back when you find out how to make their old style wings before wingstreet shit took over
>>
>>22026131
I'd rather figure out the classic KFC hot wings.

>>

Nice, original was just 2 to 1 sauce to butter. I just add the garlic and onion powder and cayenne. But for other stuff, cause I don't like chicken.
>>
>>22025818
i used to work at pizza hut and the wings are the only thing edible on the menu
>>
>>22027830
I made a pork stir fry with it, was bretty gud
>>
>>22025893
NGL you are pretty unfunny

>anon discovers generic buffalo sauce
Wow!
Also Frank’s is literally vinegar + cayenne.
You probably didn’t add enough. More likely, they don’t use Frank’s and it’s crystal or Louisiana hot sauce instead.
