Thoughts on my cheesecake?
>>22026272why isnt it taller
>>22026272YUP
>>22026275It weights 1,4kg. I have a smaller one but it would make it too tall
>>22026272R u going to eat it all by urself?
>>22026303Nah I couldnt even try it. It was a delivery order from a friend of mine.
>>22026312It looks good. I would eat it. I could probably eat half of it by myself n im not even fat.
>>22026316Thanks, anon. I apreciate that. Im trying to master the art of baking cheesecake because I unironically want to be know as the "cheesecake guy". Im a zoomer, and I belive that being well know by something in particular is the key to reach recognision followed by economic sucess, especially now a days. Ive been baking them since Christmas and I look foward to start selling them in larger numbers for restaurants, rather than keep with the delivery
>>22026330try this recipe, it's very good. I'm not a very experienced baker but I made this for mother's day and some slices were passed around to other people, and I've already gotten multiple requests to make more desserts and asked if I take orders. yours looks great too! good luck in your venture anon. https://butternutbakeryblog.com/salted-caramel-cheesecake/
>>22026272it looks like it has been smoking cigarettes and would take a rank piss in my fridge
>>22026357Hey. Thank you very much. Your cheesecake looks very beautiful to. I wish I had a photo of him sliced up like yours. The inside looks very creamy and the biscuits looks on great timing. You also had biscuit crust on the upper part which is nice. I havent been able to do that, but I havent tried yet. Are you from the US? I noticed that a lot of americans dont really like the jam on top of the cheesecake and they would rather have a very cheesy cheesecake. I will save your recipe btw
What happened to the edge crust?
>>22026377>Are you from the US? I noticed that a lot of americans dont really like the jam on top of the cheesecakeCanada, I don't think I've ever had it with jam on top though, but it sounds good. maybe I'll try it someday. the one I linked has caramel on the top which is really good. caramel is a bit finicky to make if you've never done it before, it's not that bad though once you get the hang of it. the edge side crust was easy, it's just cookie crumbs mixed with melted butter to hold their shape. worth trying for sure, it makes for a good presentation. but yeah keep it up, cheesecake is a huge crowd pleaser. make good ones and everyone will want them.
Looks perfect. If I remember you are selling these: try making a pureé for the topping base and then add a non-pureé layer on top.
>>22026398Thanks. I didnt know the side crumb was this resistant. I too use just butter and biscuits. Btw, if you ever want to try a jam on top of your cheesecake, heres my recipe>40 grams of raspberry>40 grams of blueberry>40 grams of blackberry>40 grams of strawberry >40 grama of sugar>few drops of lemon juice (you can mesure that the way you wish) >you can also add a VERY SMALL amount of sweet tapioca dissolved in water. Like one or two grams. So it will strech more and cover more your cheesecake.Just mix everything and heat it up until it becomes jam. This will grant you 160grams of jam. Which is perfect for cheesecake baked in a 24cm pan. People like this jam I make because there aint much sugar in it, it will also not taste like iron if you leave too long in the fridge
>>22026441Forgot to say. Add the sweet tapioca ONLY when the jam is already done. It must be added LAST.
>>22026441>I didnt know the side crumb was this resistantwell you also need a springform pan or something with an edge so it stays upright. but yeah. I assume you already have something like that with how well your cheesecake held shape. and thanks, I'll save this and try it out sometime.
>>22026272>>22026357>>22026398These cheesecakes all look so good, would love to try a slice>>22026330If this is the anon that had posted before about starting a home cheesecake business I hope everything is going well so far, and is on the path to even more success
How to stop it from sticking to the sides of the baking container??
>>22026272Looks awesome it'd take me 3 days to eat it all by myself
What’s the topping?>>22026275Came here to say this
>>22026546Lube the sides with a stick of butter
>>22026272don't do this to me anon, i'm trying to lose weight, now i want to eat your cheesecake.
