>>22027238I feed my dogs liver and so I will throw it on the grill at the end of a sesh if I was already grilling to mix things up for them. I tried it and it was actually edible. I could see how in time of struggle people would choose to eat it and even comes to like it. So for me it would be thinly sliced and grilled.

Either cold (for gooseliver), on toasted bread, with raw onions and a real good side salad, or fried up, topped with caramelized onions and apples and some kinda starch on the side. Mashed potatos are fire with it.

I make a soup with as much mushrooms as liver. That is the only way I can tolerate the taste. I also soak small pieces of liver in a vinegar solution before cooking.
