On today's menu:
>5-6 days old, store bought sourdough bread
>the cheapest can of sardines in tomato sauce (50 cents)
>2 cloves of garlic
>2 small pickles
>bukovec (ground dry peppers spice)
added salt at the end because i forgot. it was tasty, surprisingly juicy, full of flavor from the garlic

white sandwich bread
store brand sauce
store brand cheese
>>

That looks extremely slavic, in the worst possible way. You couldn't find some uncured uncooked bacon to slather on it as well?
>>
You're not struggling if you're buying sourdough instead of normal bread.
>>
>>22251472
>>22251472
it's just a little bit more expensive (1.50 euros) than "normal" white bread (1.20 euros)

>>22251465
no, it won't be a struggle if i have bacon
>>
2kg potatoes
500g bacon
1-2 cabbages, preferably big triangular ones
1-2 big onions.
lard

get big pot. melt lard to 1cm thickness in bottom of big pot.
chop bacon into 5cm pieces and add fatty pieces to pot on low heat.
slice onions, add to pot with leaner bacon pieces
slice up the cabbage, put it in the pot and mix well. put lid on big pot.
dice up your potatoes. add to pot. cover with stock or water.
simmer for 1-2 hours. will be ready to eat after 30 minutes.

dont forget seasoning at least some pepper. it makes enough for 5-6 meals so you can try different seasonings each time you heat one up.

Did you toast it? No cheese?
>>

no and no

>Bottom of the bottom struggle meals
>is actual food that wasn't picked out of a dumpster or off the street
you're living in luxury and you can't even see it.
>>
>>22251465
>thinks you can "slather" solid objects

*slathers my fat white meat stick all over your beautiful juicy manhole*

That's a struggle meal that's actually food. Good job

1lb dried red beans
4 cups of rice
3 green peppers (Aldi pack)
1 Yellow Onion (from eternal Aldi bag)
3 celery stalks
However much the fuck of garlic that you want
1lb of smoked sausage ($3 luxury)

Either rinse beans overnight or flash boil an hour before cooking. Use this time to chop veggies and sausage. Big chunks hold up better in my opinion

Brown the sausage in its own fat, developing pan fond, set browned sausage aside before adding the holy trinity
Saute the trinity until most of the moisture is gone (adds a lot of flavor for later on and allows the fond to get into the trinity)
Add four cups of water, bay leaf if you got it and some cajun seasoning
Bring to boil and simmer for 4 hours. Add the sausage during the last hour and prepare the rice as well

Serve beans over rice with hot sauce

This will make ~6-8 servings and it stores well in the freezer

>Bottom of the bottom
That's good eating, man. There are people out there dreaming about being able to eat so well, subsisting off free ketchup packets and stuff they find in dumpsters.
>>
>>22251456
why isn't that cheese melting?
>>
>>22251500
>simmer for 1-2 hours. will be ready to eat after 30 minutes
so which is it? this is confusing
>>
>>22251717
Which word did you find confusing, esl-kun?
>>
>>22251717
both. it will be ready after 30 minutes but i like to keep it simmering for longer.
>>
>>22251452
You clearly don't actually like sardines if you put all this garbage on them
>>
>>22251688
Because he didn't cook it all the way?
>>
>>22251452
tortilla + chunky peanut butter in microwave for 10 seconds
enjoy
Tortilla + shredded cheese and free taco bell hot sauce packets
>>
made some onion fried rice the other night. cook rice, cook an egg or two, saute chopped onion and garlic in oil, add rice, add egg, add soy sauce, dark soy sauce, a little chicken bouillon, a bit of sugar, any other asian shit you have like mirin fish sauce oyster sauce sesame oil, whatever. can chop and add any meat you have lying around as well or just eat it as is.
>>
Rape Stew:
-simmer beef broth in large pot
-go out and rape a bitch
-turn broth off of low heat
-order chinese takeout
>>
Canned black beans with onion and garlic powder
Plain steamed sweet potatoes
Plain Mapo Tofu with expired silken tofu from the back of the fridge + brown rice
Avocado Toast + refrigerated then toasted Sourdough bread bought on clearance
>>

if you're super poor, canned beans are a waste of money. for like $1 for a 1lb bag of dry beans you end up with 4 cans worth of beans and as long as you have some basic spices they'll taste better than canned too. and black beans cook in about an hour even without soaking.

Aglio e olio. To be extra frugal you soak up all the delicious sauce at the end with whatever toasted bread you have and maybe add a little Parmesan.

Here’s a great struggle meal. I sometimes eat it straight out of the can, and it’s always delicious.

> Aglio e olio. To be extra fat you soak up all the delicious “sauce” (just oil) at the end with whatever toasted bread you have and maybe add a little Parmesan like the obese pig that you are.
>>
>>22253106
You wish I was obese.
>>
The best struggle meals are stealing whatever canned Greek food you can find and eating it straight out the can. Dolmas are good.
