Oh, Raidou's remake is out and this thread is awful quiet about it. It's pretty good, I recommend it. There was a page that broke down the MC's character design somewhat. It mentioned that he cut his hair himself following style trends for asymmetrical design. What is canon though is that he's a delinquent that doesn't really like following the rules and hates school. He purposefully wrecks his school bag and refuses to take home any study materials. So it kind of makes sense he'd give himself a hair cut that isn't standard too.
