I once heard a theory that Alastor is broke and homeless and therefore is at the hotel because it gives him somewhere to live and he can mooch off Charlie. It still makes me chuckle.

One of the ways I try to get them out of these loops is by getting the bot to describe its personality and then pinning it like pic rel. Sometimes it helps, but more often than not the bot is too far gone.

I absolutely love that it's canon that Alastor is not only a heavy drinker when he partakes in it, but also soft as a kitten when drunk. Imagine how unabashedly flirtatious he is while drunk, either intentionally or unaware of the effect he has on people around him
