He should be glad the chest fluff isn't canon, I bet it would be nightmare to button up his shirts every morning.
Thought we died for a minute.
>>4004031Oof, yeah. I was trying to kill time before a meeting and the site just stopped working.
>>4004041>>4004041Thankfully we didn’t
>>4004049I had a horrible feeling I might have to talk about the deer with retards on twitter... Would have had to go back to my Japanese textbooks or something.
I currently can't afford, gotta buy 3 transatlantic plane tickets...BUT, if anyone is looking for demon and/or OG human Al plushes...I have a brown Al plush on the way...I hope it makes it in time.
>>4004064Oh, these are out already? I didn't realise they'd be on etsy.
>>4004068It could be a reseller, I was actually surprised to see them crop up.
>>4004069It surprised me because they're made by one of my favourite artists. I can't afford anything right now since I'll probably need to get a laptop when I get home, but I was definitely considering getting them.
>>4004054scary!
>>4004071I'll probably pick them up if they're still available in a couple of months. I could always use more deer to snuggle with.
More deer!
>>4004098God yes, always need more deer to cuddle, these ones look so soft too. I'm so excited to get home at the end of the week, I have 5 parcels of deer merch to open.
>>4004110Ugh, I'm jealous. Let us know what the haul looks like when you're able to enjoy it!
>>4004122And I forgot but the nendoroid should ship today as well. I think I'm going to spread it across my bed and roll around.
>>4004110>>4004130Christmas comes early!>>4004122Makes me jealous too…
>>4004131It'll be better than Christmas, I know I'm not getting anything deer related for Christmas. To be fair some of it I ordered in like July. I should have a deercest doujin in there so if I can get decent pics without tearing it apart I'll share with you guys.
>>4004137:0 very nice! Gotta share that with us and whatever else you get if u want too!
Deerfags: how would Charlie Kirk be treated if he was checked in at the Hazbin Hotel?
hooves...
>>4004216Love those hooves.
>>4004196No politics in the deer thread thx.>>4004216I want to lick them...human footsies too.
>>4004254How else is he meant to get them clean?
>>4004259That poor baby, we would definitely be a cat household. :,)
>>4004260Ugh yeah, cats are definitely superior. I've never been bitten or anything but I've always been wary around dogs.
>>4004261>>4004259The dog is so silly. Poor Alastor tho…
>>4004261I'm low key scared of them. I've been bitten a few times and the oils in their skin smell awful to my autistic nose.
>>4004263We'll rescue him, it'll be ok.>>4004264I avoid them. The only dog I've ever had real contact with is my brother's cockapoo, which is by necessity. I think it was my grandparents who scared me off a bit, they had an old jack russell and were very adamant that we didn't mess with him. Dog smell is awful, I don't know how my brother's house doesn't stink.
IMO I don't think Alastor has BPD, I think he has dismissive avoidant attachment style as a result of narcissist/sociopathic traits. Just dark triad basically
>>4004265I think most of us are cat people, which I find funny.>>4004266Imo I don't see NPD or ASPD. My mother and ex were NPD and while Alastor shows some of the traits, it's more vulnerable narcissism rather than the classical type you'd see in NPD. A better example for NPD would be Vox. Al definitely has dark trad traits, but it's more vulnerable dark triad rather than outright sociopathy. The BPD aspect is soft canon since Viv based him off a person who had it.
>>4004267I am quite the dog guy, but I do like cats, Alastor might have to get used to having a dog around him… dogs can stink though, especially if you don’t bathe them.
>>4004267Oh yeah I'm guilty, I've got two at home I miss dearly. Gotta remember to stop them sitting on my dakis. >>4004299Just ease him in gently so he doesn't get spooked. My brother actually had hypnotherapy as a kid because he was terrified of dogs. Though after season 2, I'm sure Al would prefer to skip the hypnosis part.Holy shit /deer/ I'm nearly free of assignments, and then I can write fanfiction.
>>4004299I can tolerate them if they're well behaved and not stinky, but I dunno if the deer would be conditioned to be around them...>>4004311Yay! Congratulations! I'm going to try to sit down and write something tonight as well...
>>4004311>I'm nearly free of assignmentsLucky, I have classes til the 21st. Just ease him in gently so he doesn't get spookedYeah it’s probably safer that way anyway, I’m sure if you just drop a dog into his lap it would get very messy>>4004312>but I dunno if the deer would be conditioned to be around themIt will take a lot of work for sure, certainly any trauma and the like will be hard for him to get through
>>4004314>21stAw mate that sucks. Once I've finished this lab report I just have lectures and I'm done on Friday for five weeks. >dogYeah, that doggo's getting eviscerated, very messy.>>4004312I'll be glad to get back to it. I want to try and finish my chapter 2 by the end of the week. I kind of also have an idea for a Radiodoll fic, after an anon posted on /hhg/ that they can't find content for it this morning. (I checked the tag on ao3 and holy shit they were not kidding)
>>4004314Deer needs therapy.>>4004318Radiodoll is such a crackship that I'm more than willing to read it for the sheer novelty. :D
>>4004321Oh yeah, it's totally nonserious, I figure it's enough of a crackship that I'd be safe from being cancelled for ruining a lesbian or whatever. I was thinking about having them meet up again after the end of season 2, talk shit about Vox then idk bang I guess. Unless anyone has any better ideas, I don't really know where else to go with them.
>>4004323They can reminisce about how they gossiped during Al's captivity.
>>4004318Lucky lucky! Good luck with the lab!>>4004321Deer needs hugs and kisses!>>4004321>>4004323>>4004325Kino, I've seen alot of art of vel and Al its cute sometimes and very silly!
I watched the Cab Calloway movie "St Louis Blues" and imagined Alastor as the MC. Really good movie for anyone who likes old musicals
>>4004325>>4004328I did enjoy all the art of Vel giving Alastor makeovers. Their dynamic was fun.
>>4004334I'll have to give it a watch, I really like Cab Calloway. I listened to him a lot while season 2 was airing. Thanks for the recommendation.
>>4004334Cab was an interesting guy, very of his time. I was exposed to him back in the early 2010s when electro swing music gained a semblance of popularity. People were doing remixes of his older songs. Funny to see parallels with Minnie the moocher and Mimzy.
>>4004337In my head, that song is just Al singing about Mimzy. (probably while she lounges on top of the piano)
>>4004064So, about these, the seller has stolen photos from another artist I like who sells RS merch and is trying to sell copies of their work at a much higher price than they are originally. ($40 for two vs like $45 each) The original artist for the plushies here said they would be up for pre-order probably in the next week or so, and they would be available here: https://xpersonatoy.com/Just in case anyone was considering it, idk if you guys care about knock-offs but the price might be better at least if you buy from the original creator.
>>4004457Ah that sucks. Yeah, thanks for pointing that out, I'd much rather buy the original and support the artist, rather than buying from people using stolen assets, even if it was slightly more expensive.
>>4004463No worries, I saw the RS artist talking about it earlier on discord and it just twigged in my mind. If anything it feels like the price might be better. The original artist is cool, this is their twitter: https://x.com/qin_gu__
>>4004465Very nice! I have so much of this artist's work archived, but I've never seen their socials. One of these days I'll make a new discord and twitter account to keep up with things properly.
I already have 408 photos in my folder of him and it has been like three weeks since I really got into Hazbin. It’s only gonna get worse. I’m fucked.
>>4004471They seem to have a pretty based attitude about everything too, though I don't see many of their posts since they repost a lot of Charlastor. One of the best parts of going back on twitter is finding artists whose art I've saved on there. I mainly use discord for deer merch, most of the general Hazbin discords I've joined have like 13 year olds in them and it's weird so I end up leaving immediately.>>4004473It does only get worse, friend. I only really started saving pics last September and I now have 12.6k images of this silly deer on my pc.
>>4004473Gotta get more!
>>4004473Welcome to the club! At least you're in good company.>>4004474>most of the general Hazbin discords I've joined have like 13 year olds in themOof, yeah, that's an instant 'no' from me. I'm not remotely interested in shit takes from people who I could have given birth to, and a lot of my fic/art skirts nsfw, so I'm very strict about dni, for their sake as well as mine.
>>4004478I'm the same, I won't interact with anyone under 18. I have to hang out with 18 year olds already and they're bad enough. I could probably find an 18+ server but I don't care that much. I already have here and twitter, I don't need to sit on any more social media talking about this dumb cartoon.
>>4004479TikTok is a nightmare. I use it for memes and to see other people's art, but I avoid any and all discussion like the plague.
>>4004487I can't cope with TikTok, I use it for leaks since they always end up there and that's all. Also the last time I used it to any extent was when I was really into Radioapple and the algorithm doesn't forget, kek.
>>4004491>was about to post this:0 fluffy deer
>>4004500Is it bad that I think of you guys when I save fanart now? Heh. He is very fluffy and cute.
>>4004491I recently deleted the app myself, too much brain rot that interfered with my attention span.>>4004501I get toms of new fan art from here, and whenever I find stuff on Tumblr or Pinterest I'm like 'can't wait to share that in /deer/'...
>>4004503Sometimes I see things and think "ooh, I know who'll like that". I like to save a variety of things, it's great how many different artist draw the deer and how varied they are. I mainly save things from twitter because it's easy, though I enjoy playing roulette with pixiv if I've got spare time because I've found a few gems on there buried under random crap.
>>4004501Not at all, do pretty much the same when I find a extremely rare deer
>>4004507I try to save a variety of things. I typically prefer western stylization these days, though I grew up drawing mostly shoujo style. You can see influences of that in my old fan art here. The only style that's not really my personal thing is the more yaoi styled art and the Korean manhua style. I feel like he ends up looking kind of like a generic anime boy, but this is just my opinion.
>>4004514Ironically that's a deer that evaded me earlier, so thanks! Stupid feed refreshed...>>4004516Yes, you can see the influence, I love old shoujo, Rose of Versailles is still one of my favourite anime and I grew up on things like Sailor Moon. I don't mind the Hazbin style art, I'm not really a fan of other western cartoon styles, but I can appreciate most styles. Mainly I'm in awe of anyone who can draw because I don't have the patience.
>>4004518The whole 80s anime/city pop aesthetic was huge when I was a kid, it was the pre-Pokemon days, so anime was really targeting the adult/teen demographic. I remember seeing some great stuff back then. Iirc the first feature length anime film I ever watched was Lily Cat. I was fucked up for days.As an adult I'm not particularly into western animation, the only shows that I've watched have been Beavis & Butthead, and Steven Universe. The former is a nostalgia watch, and I'm looking back on the latter with a little disdain because of how poorly it was written, plus the proliferation of CalARTs style and woke nonsense in kid's media.
https://files.catbox.moe/i4c6bg.mp4For the Alastorfrens
>>4004544Very cute deer vid!
>>>/trash/79844100>>>/trash/79844100Deer /trash thread/ is up, was super busy yesterday and forgot too!
>>4004525>woke nonsense in kid's media.lol, lmao
Good morning, /deer/.
On the topic of Southern food, it's funny to see people get enthusiastic about it when I've eaten it my whole life. Things like jambalaya and dirty rice are stables for me, I never thought about other people not being exposed to it.>>4005490Good morning!
>>4005500I knew a bit about it before because one of my favourite authors wrote about a couple of chefs from New Orleans, so I picked up quite a bit about the food culture. It’s really cool, when I get to visit I’m going to need an extra seat on the plane home I think. I didn’t like how people were making fun of someone on twitter for making jambalaya because of Alastor, not everyone is going to know every dish in the world. Who cares if they only found out about it through Hazbin, good food is good food.In other news, I got my nendoroid today! I want to take some funny photos of it, or the plushies, but I have no inspiration right now.
>>4005528I think I saw that post, what made it funny to me was that they were chiding her for not knowing 'black' food, when jambalaya is really just southernized Spanish food...it's not a black or Creole invention. Slimy okra would take that prize, but I've never known anyone outside of my area brave enough to try that one lol.Glad he made it safely, definitely show us some cute poses when you have the time.
>>4005546Yeah, that’s what I’m talking about. It seemed pretty stupid to me. Yeah it might be a bit cringy, but let people enjoy things. I’ve discovered a lot of different foods through media. Some people are so weird about these things. People are weird about Alastor’s race in a way I didn’t really expect.
>>4005553It is stupid, more especially when they're speaking about things they have zero working knowledge of. I've seen so many poor takes coming from twitter and TikTok concerning Al's race, more especially from people who have never even stepped foot in the south. It would be sad if it weren't funny.
>>4005565As a white British person I'm willing to admit I'm not the authority on American culture, but even I did a doubletake when they said jambalaya was black people food. But the difference is I'll research, or just ask someone who knows more than me instead of being dumb on social media for likes. It's weird because I never see any comments on art where Rosie is dragging him around on a chain, but if you draw him with straight hair you're worse than Hitler. There's a lot of people who say that because he's mixed, he's black and so he would have a generic black experience, completely neglecting his creole heritage. It definitely feels like a lot of people have just latched onto Al as the oppressed black person of the moment, and know very little else about him.
>>4005574>he would have a generic black experienceThis is what I get a lot of, and while I shouldn't go off on a tangent, I'll say this:>Creole experience =/= African American experience.Creole people did face increasing racism during Jim Crow, but it was not equal to that of other non whites. Creoles were almost like a middle class, and this afforded them more leeway socially than non mixed people. Creoles were also often quite racist towards black people. There's a good possibility that Alastor's resentment of of segregation wouldn't have come from white people hating him because he was black, but because they grouped him in with blacks, something he probably wouldn't have historically considered himself to be. The one drop rule was very controversial to Creoles because they simply didn't consider themselves black at all. They tried to marry white or amongst other 'Creoles of Color', and considered themselves superior to most other groups, including new white immigrants like the Irish and Italians. But lumping anyone who has black ancestry into one big cultural pot is what seems to happen, and it's totally not racist at all...lmao.
>>4005579I've also seen people attacking others for saying he's mixed, not black. It all feels very performative, I wish they'd all leave Alastor alone because I cba blocking them all when all I want is pretty art.
>>4005581The 'erm akshually he's black not mixed' is largely an American neurosis. After the one drop rule became defunct it actually became advantageous to identify as black because of benefits and affirmative action. This resulted in almost all mixed people identifying solely with the non white aspect of their identity. I remember when Obama became president and the rest of the world cringed when he called himself the first 'black' president. Like, no...you're half white. Most European folks who are mixed usually identify as mixed, and it pisses off American blacks all the time. A recent example was when an American interviewer asked Rev. Calvin Robinson if he identified with blacks and he very curtly said 'no, I'm mixed'.Basically it's just people projecting their shitty identity politics on someone who wouldn't have identified with them in the first place.
>>4005589American ideas on race do confuse me. I think it doesn't help that some loud Americans think that their way is the only way. I read a thread on twitter where a Korean artist was asking if they should delete their animation because they were getting a load of hate about making Alastor white. All the comments were basically "It's the foreigners again, isn't it?" which made me chuckle to myself. I'd give white Al a pass before fully black Al, since for a while he was actually white, and based on what Viv has said he's still mostly white.
>>4005591If Viv's comments on his parents are still canon Alastor could be anywhere between 60-90% white. Odds are even if he identified with his mother she herself probably wouldn't have identified as black, especially if she were born during the Civil War years. It's ultimately just a bunch of historically illiterate bullies trying to claim a character and forcing others to adhere to their retarded world view. As an American I can honestly say there's a lot of shitty aspects of the modern US culture, and that's one of them. Al was white before he was black, if they can't accept that the fandom will have nostalgia for the Alastor that we knew for half a decade then they should find a different fandom to participate in.
>>4005596They really should find a new fandom but they won’t. It’s like an infestation
>>4005596I'm honestly glad I came late and didn't have time to get attached to white Al, since Viv was already saying he was mixed and I was certain if he was going to have a canon human design, it would be something different. I'm glad she didn't make him too different to what she originally envisioned. He still resembles his demon form, which is nice. If she'd made him into a racist stereotype, I definitely wouldn't like his human form as much.
>>4005598Very unfortunate.>>4005599It was difficult initially, but I was ultimately thankful that she kept his face the same. After all, she could have gone in a very different direction. I warmed up eventually because I'm naturally attracted to more swarthy guys with curly hair on an aesthetic level. I'm aware this makes me a traitor to some, but I'm fine with his design at this point, even if I'll always hold s special place for his old design.
Sigh>>4005592
>>4005604Yeah, no, for a few reasons:>it doesn't break board rulesOver half of this board on any given day is shota, and they have half a dozen offshoots as well. Nobody is bitching at them. Anyone can make any thread that they want. You're not obligated to post in it. >we don't get along with other characterfags or shipfagsWe've tried to be civil and it hasn't worked. We gatekeep hard because of the absolute autism that we've had to deal with in the past. It's the reason we're even here in the first place. Folding yumes and fujos into a main general is a terrible idea because eventually someone is going to be a cunt and ruin it. So sorry you're salty that we take up board space, we're not going to stop because you're annoyed.
>>4005604There are 7 of our old threads on the catalog, all full of discussion and art. I think we're justified in remaining as we are.
>>4005606>>4005607I think that anon just hates Hazbinfags. There is enough to RS art to justify its own thread anyways too.
>>4005608I agree. They're being considerate to /hhg/ by making their own space. They're entitled to have that just as much as we are.
>>4005608Yeah, for sure. I occasionally post there, since RS is one of my favourite Alastor ships. If our threads were dying and dropping off quickly then fair, but they're not.
>>4005612/deer/ and the RS threads are the fastest moving on /cm/ apart from shota threads. I can see why anons who enjoy more niche characters would get annoyed because it does bump threads off faster, but /cm/ is still drastically slower than most boards, so it shouldn't be a crazy bad issue. Worse case scenario we report them if they try to shit up the thread.
>>4005615I mean, our oldest thread here hit the image limit nearly 2 months ago. Like you say, we're not doing anything wrong. There's plenty of space for all of us here.
>>4005617Deer abuse…
>>4005709I'm so glad to see this artist back
>>4005734Yes, I love their art.
>>4005734>long nailsThis does something for me for some reason.
>>4005734>>4005742>>4005749They draw Alastor so cutely
>>4005606I do agree with them a little bit. I think it's fine to separate yume and shipping but I also don't think each character needs it's own thread.
>>4005750I really like the proportions they give him. He looks so lanky, and the waist is nice and grabbable.
>>4005768That’s fair, I mean the Pentious thread is fairly dead. At least we and the RS thread already have a few dedicated posters who keep things going.
>>4005768I think that people forget why we're here in the first place. We didn't stroll over to /cm/ because we wanted to squat here, we came because we were largely harassed off of our board and we needed a place to go where trolls couldn't disturb our discussion. I didn't really want to be a trendsetter in that regard, ha.
>>4005769Genuinely perfect waist…>>4005782We also don’t have to keep bumping as often here which is good
>the constant state of /deer/
>>4005826Pretty much.
>>4005829Nothing but deer in there, as it should be.
>>4005826Agreed
>>4005919More deer, you say?
>>4005919More?
There are never enough.
>>4005986>>4005985>>4005973Always more
>>4005990He looks so good in a uniform.
I feel like a massive weight has been lifted, I finally finished chapter 2, in between herding sheep and babysitting my nephews. https://archiveofourown.org/works/70305461/chapters/198621596
>>4006001Good stuff! I'll give it a read tonight in the bath.
>>4006003It kind of got to the point where I was like, just post it, it's fine. I also was brave and shared with /hhg/. Hopefully it's enjoyable enough.
>>4006004I'm sure it will be. I used to add mine to the /hhg/ collection, but after the Tumblr fiasco I thought better of it since I'd rather not have weirdos find /hhg/ and then by extension...us.
>>4006008Ah yeah, that would be irritating. They're not still bothering you, are they? I saw the post had been deleted, so I was hoping that she saw sense and gave up.
>>4006012Nah. I think either Tumblr removed it or enough people convinced her that she was making herself look like a complete fucking dullard by doubling down when she was unfamiliar with AO3's content policy. I haven't had any issues since, but it's made me wary and more guarded with linking back here. In a way I feel like I arrived in the fandom because I got my first callout post outside of 4chan lol.
>>4006001Very good! Gotta read it later however. Exams. SAD!
>>4006015Good that you're not getting harassed. It sounded like most of the comments supporting her just skimmed the post, saw the bad words and went ahhh bad. While plenty of others were sensible. It would have been entertaining to see her try and deal with /hhg/, though as you say, it has the potential to cause a lot of grief over nothing.>>4006016Ew, that sucks. Good luck!
>>4005998Love a deer in uniform
>>4006017Truthfully, she made it sound a lot worse than what it actually is, I told her on AO3 that the protagonist wasn't a prepubescent child, but she played it up on Tumblr like the reader insert was meant to be a toddler. :| Even if it was, that still isn't against AO3 rules and encouraging a bunch of idiots to mass report something that isn't violating TOS wastes staff time. /hhg/ would have torn her a new asshole, especially since she was getting flustered by very mild comments on Tumblr telling her this wasn't the hill to die on. Even still, less normie publicity for our little corners is for the better. >>4006021He's so sexy dressed that way. What branch of the military do you think he'd be best in? I think he'd be best at working on radio technology in the Navy.
>>4006023Navy is a good choice though I don’t see him liking being on the ocean for a long time, dunno why.
Well, c.ai knows what I like at least. >>4006021>>4006023I wouldn’t be surprised if he was somehow involved in WW1, I was reading about it and I didn’t know that they stopped civilian radio broadcasting in the USA during the war. He could have potentially been sent to train others how to use radios if it was something he was interested in beforehand. The navy is a good shout, since they were the most extensive users of radio technology. I wonder how Al would get on on the ocean, a little different to a pirogue on the bayou haha.
>>4006028Well, lots of guys get land duty, so there's that!>>4006029>Alastor, Alastor, AlastorTop kek. Sounds about right for /deer/.So, mild PL. Since my shitty ex was considerably older than me, he had a lot of prior life experience. Going into the Navy was actually how he ended up working in radio. He got a technical degree in broadcasting prior, so in the Navy he went from place to place fixing towers, training others, and broadcasting classified info. When he got out of the navy he went into broadcasting full time. He eventually stopped when he found that he enjoyed teaching more than radio work, unfortunately for me.The only obstacle I can see to Alastor being enlisted during WWI is his race. The one drop rule would have meant that he was classified as 'negro' whether it was accurate or not. A shame. He would have been beautiful in a uniform. Ah, I love human Al so much. I'm glad I can post him here freely. :,)
>>4006030That’s interesting. It’s something I didn’t think about until recently, but my uncle is a managing director at one of the big UK radio companies. Both he and my grandfather were very much into amateur radio, my grandfather used to have a whole room set up in his house with radio equipment, and a big mast in the garden. We were never really allowed up there as kids, in fact we were allowed in the music room more often to bash around the grand piano haha. So if I met Alastor today, I could probably get him a job in radio over here. He would certainly look dashing, he would have to fight off all the sweethearts he would have. It’s a shame that he wouldn’t have the same opportunities due to his race, he would have been an asset for sure.
>>4006033My ex had a home studio as well, so I could at least hold my own in a conversation with Al. But that makes me wonder...do all deersisters have life experiences with radio...?
>>4006035>>4006035Al would still have to explain it to me, anything technical feels like magic to me. He would probably enjoy having a captive audience to listen to his rambling. It's weird because it never even twigged for me until a month or so ago when I was sorting out my LinkedIn and got sidetracked looking up family members.
>>4006037Oh, I'm still only at surface level understanding, anything technical goes over my head. Sitting through a deer infodump sounds like a dream though, just smile and nod occasionally.
>>4006038It's why I never even considered engineering, kek. Anything practical I need explained to me like I'm 5. I bet he's so engaging when he's talking about something he's passionate about. It would be so nice, snuggled up, listening to him for hours...
>>4006039My shitty math skills pretty much renders me useless when it comes to any thing past biological/earth sciences, ha. I would love to drift off to sleep in his arms listening to him go on about his new microphone or what have you.
>>4006041I can do the maths, the theory behind EM waves is cool, maybe I can help him do some calculations or something. I always turn into a bimbo when confronted with equipment though. I want a grand tour of his radio tower, letting him explain every piece of equipment in depth, followed by being allowed to sit quietly during one of his broadcasts, watching him work. He would be captivating, I'm sure. Maybe he'd even slip in a love song or two.
>>4006042>His idea of flirting is slowly plugging male/female auxiliary cables together in front of you.
>>4006048What a child. (it's canon)
>>4006039Engineering hurts the brain
what are you guys getting Alastor for Christmas?
>>4005829sauce?
>>4006090It sure does. >>4006168I'm planning on settling down with my daki after lunch and listening to some jazz, maybe a glass of whiskey. That's the kind of gift I'd buy for him, a nice bottle of whiskey or some old records. Basic bitch stuff I know.>>4006188This is the artist: https://x.com/sol_1x1
>>4006168I would probably make him something neat out of old animal bones. I have a few skulls lying around, and I enjoy making little taxidermy pieces. I'd get him his favorite whiskey, and snuggle under a big blanket.
>>4006199Taxidermy is a really sweet idea, I'm sure he'd appreciate something like that a lot.
>>4006203I feel like anything that plays into his interests might be good. He's surprisingly well rounded, he likes music, naturalism, radio tech, cooking, doodling...I wonder what he'd like to read? I assume horror.
>>4006194Basic bitch maybe but I’m sure he will Appreciate it>>4006199That would be so good! Course you have to find the right parts
>>4006206I also think he would appreciate something homemade and thoughtful, rather than a big flashy expensive gift. Something Niffty would give him vs something Vox would give him, for example. He does have a lot of interests, I like people like that, they're easy to buy for. For literature I would also say horror is a safe bet. Any of the classics from his time and earlier. I can see him reading something Dickensian and finding it incredibly funny, as well. All the orphans...
>>4006215Alastor did like that bug crown nifty gave him...
>>4006217That's exactly it, it's a bunch of dead cockroaches strung together, but Alastor clearly appreciated it enough to keep it through the destruction and rebuilding of the hotel.
>>4006213Well, I currently only have cat and deer bones... I do like tasteful mounts that respect the creature. :3>>4006215Al seems like his love language might be 'acts of service', so doing something for him or making something that could be of use would be appreciated more than expensive gifts. I get the feeling he'd enjoy a lot of things that were supposed to elicit sympathy. He might find Les Misérables to be particularly humorous.
>>4006218It’s the love!>>4006220Maybe make Alastor a flute out of a bone or something, that would be nice!>ThursdayShould I bake a /trash/ deer thread or wait a bit longer?
>>4006222I don't know if I could be trusted to make an instrument, but I would try!Up to you, you've been stretched thin lately, so if you want to skip a week it's understandable!
>>4006224Gotta try even if it doesn’t work out, I’m sure Alastor will enjoy that you put the time and effort into learning to make one! I will see if I can bake this weekend
>>4006230Sounds good!
>>4006233Get that deer a cookie!
>>4006234u give a deer a cookie, he is going to want a glass of milk...
>>4006235He can have milk too. Whatever he wants.
>>4006236>whatever he wantsUh oh
>>4006237Step away from the shota!
>>4006238Gotta keep Alastor from corrupting his past self…
>>4006239It's an endless cycle of the deer making himself worse...
Y'all got me sweating.
>>4006241We got too silly!>>4006240Not good!
>>4006241>>4006242Kek. Shota Al is for being cherished and cared for.
