Emizel is a top-tier shota. Ankle boots without socks, short shorts, a cute hoodie, and blond hair. He has everything.
>>4014925Isn't it the opposite? The oldest study I can find about it is one from 2015 concerning "dimorphous" emotional expression (being so happy you cry type of stuff) that used cuteness because it's easy to reproduce in a controlled setting. Google trends says the term cute aggression dates back to 2014, but I can't find how people were using it.As far as I know, that one 4chan post about malevolent cuteness aggression was made after this. And it was less a refutation of it and more an observation of a dysfunctional, maladaptive variant of it that seems to be prevalent among some populations and explain some of their behaviors.
>>4014919Twin are gays
>>4014949Yummy. May i have some?
>>4014959Earliest I saw it was back somewhere between 2015-2016ish and it was used in reference to people being genuinely violent towards cute or pretty people and things. And then, oh so mysteriously, you could search the term in the 2020's and all you'd get were articles about the term in a neutered sense.

>>4014968OK, I was able to dig a little deeper. The term cute aggression didn't exist anywhere before January 2013. And when it did appear, it was already being used to refer to the normal urge to harmlessly squeeze and pinch cute things. It appears to have been coined by two Yale grad students translating a Tagalog word, gigil, into English. The understanding of it as a negative, actually violent thing seems to be limited to 4chan. The main catalyst was a thread on an altchan from 12/31/2018 that was reposted on /pol/ a few days later. I also misremembered. The OP of that thread posted a link to the 2015 study on "dimorphous expressions". But he apparently didn't read it because pretty much the entire post was misunderstanding what it was about. This is when it was reframed as a hatred of cuteness/beauty and associated with low IQ. There were posts before this using cute aggression to refer to more violent desires. But these retained its original meaning tied to an overwhelming cuteness and were typically used by anons to refer to themselves with no stated hatred of the cute character and no association with IQ. They mostly seem like people being edgy/extreme, as is often the case here, with it occasionally being misattributed to actual sociopaths. It was likely these latter mistaken uses that led to the creation of the /pol/ thread.
>>4015042I love him
>>4015034Ehta from Daiakutou Shounen. Or, now that it is being officially translated, Eta from Supervillain Boy. He is lone. He is noble. He is powerful. But most of all, he is very cute.
>>4015034>>4015035It's the main character from Daiakutou Shounen (Supervillain Boy).
>>4015034>>4015035He's the protagonist of Daiakutou ShonenAKA Supervillain Boy, a manga about a chuuni boy with a goat tulpa who dislikes superheroes and wants to beat them all. One day gets superpowers, and immediately begins to use them in the way a brat like him would do (annoy others and act smug, but nothing about killing people because that's uncool).

>>4015044>The OP of that thread posted a link to the 2015 study on "dimorphous expressions". But he apparently didn't read it because pretty much the entire post was misunderstanding what it was about. There were three different studies cited in that post (assuming you're talking about https://archive.4plebs.org/pol/search/image/90ZN1OvBvsYEbb6VoGnFeQ/ ). >>4015060>The mangaka (Fujichika Koume) did a Made in Abyss anthology chapter (volume 3, chapter 2) and it was Reg focused and there was a boner joke. It's obvious that the author is a shotacon. Between Etha's peak brat attitude and his skintight outfit that shows off the shape of his entire body for no particular reason, his "stand" being a strong male that wants to protect him (obvious self-insert for shotacons), to the amount of other cute shotas interested in him. Even the way Dominion and Serpent Smoke's relationship is similar to that of CE and Zombieman's, a popular shotacon ship.

>>4015136Of course you doubt it? Lol. Do you know how dangerous this is? Nobody’s doing it openly.
>>4015137obviously there is a certain amount of men who are secretly shotacons and deny it to themselves, but realistically how high can this number possibly be? it's even more ridiculous to claim that it's true for 100% of the male population. but maybe anon is being sarcastic and i didn't realize in which case excuse my retardation
>>4015138People do everything in secret. You only see what people let you see.
I doubt many men would consider themselves shotacons, but I do wonder if there is a general malaise in these times where people have an instinct to be more loving and affectionate to each other in a general sense, and that is being pretty powerfully suppressed by social media, religions, and the social contract.
>>4015136I wouldn't say profoundly, but yes it is disappointing. If you can draw cute boys, why would you waste time on that other shit?

>>4015184Yes there would be. People don't talk to each other, so everyone is afraid. It's all a performance and right now the most popular performance is outrage at this. Not only that, but you also have to consider that not everyone who loves shos would treat them right. We've seen that, and those people that hurt them make the rest of us look bad, so how do you tell the difference?
>>4015157True, but, since that's the case, somebody has to be right.
>>4015224Me.
>>4015225and what say you?
>>4015226Almost everyone loves boys. There's a few people who are really messed up and dislike anything good. And larger group who are just selfish and will do anything for their own personal gain. These people are the ones who tricked and coerced everyone else into suppressing their love of boys.
>>4015219Is that my son and his bf?
>>4015230You can tell because most fiction doesnt really work as a straight story. Theyre obviously written about boys and then changed to appeal to whats "acceptable". Like every disney movie for example.
>>4015230How do you know this is true, though? Anyone who disagrees with you will just be met with the idea that the majority of people are repressing it. You could easily make the same argument for girls.
>>4015240That’s because girls ARE doing the same thing, except it’s women and girls instead. People are taught to repress it and people aren’t very well known for going against the grain.
>>4015240Looking at history and comparing different cultures. Even with active suppression, the erotic idealization of boys was commonplace and expected in Western art until very, very recently. The period we live in now is an extreme outlier.I'm going to disagree with the other anon. When I say almost everyone, I mean it. I know female shotacons are a controversial subject here. But all available historical evidence suggests that girls and women also near universally love boys. There's obviously a different character to it than boys and men loving boys. But even a full blown feminist like Germaine Greer has expressed sentiments similar to those found in these threads that boys are loved by and above all and that this love is being suppressed to everyone's detriment. This is not to say that no one loves men or girls or women. Many people obviously do. But boys hold a special place of honor as the agreed upon representation of humanity at our best.
>>4015245Im just going to say no.About 40% of what you said is right, but that’s being generous. Sorry.
>>4015245NYART, but I disagree. The fact that most societies have historically accepted boys as erotically appealing does not necessarily mean that attraction to boys is something everyone is innately predisposed to experiencing - rather, it means that our society is uniquely repressed. Even in ancient Greece, there were several notable people who criticized the erotic components of the pederastic dynamics, despite the fact that those dynamics were commonplace. This isnt to say that those individuals expressed the will of absolutely everyone alive - but to show how attraction to boys isnt universal. Our period IS, in fact, an outlier in how attraction to boys is totally decried as unacceptable, but the idea that loving boys is universal is a brash, unprovable generalization.
>>4015249nah anons rightweird to see a decent take here
>>4015222i’d love to give some shotas my sporting good dick, if you know what i mean
>>4015253Believe what you want. That’s how we got where we are now anyway.
>>4015252Yes it does. What youre saying proves that you can be taught to suppress it and still convince yourself you’re leading a happy life. If we just raise people a certain way, and tell them over and over again what they can and can’t do, eventually that’s essentially going to take hold and brainwashing will be a real thing.
>>4015252>there were several notable people who criticized the erotic components of the pederastic dynamicsHave you read what they said? Plato, the man so heavily associated with non-erotic love that it is named after him, spoke about boys with as much unbridled eros as anons here do. Their criticisms were not because they did not experience the erotic love of boys. Rather it was because they did experience this love and believed (incorrectly, in my opinion) that indulging it hindered philosophical enlightenment. To use them as examples of the absence of erotic love for boys would be like using a teetotaler as an example of someone immune to the intoxicating effects of alcohol. What I'm saying isn't novel. If you look at any society where the love of boys was not suppressed, it was taken for granted that boys represented an ideal of supreme beauty. This wasn't something people debated. It was simply a fact of life like the sun rising in the morning. The resistance to the idea of this universal truth is bewildering to me. There are countless other reactions and behaviors that are universal or nearly so across virtually all human populations. No one questions the ubiquity of finding small children cute or the desire to protect them. Nor the revulsion and instinctive avoidance of corpses. Why is it so hard to believe in this? It's not like it's without reason. Boys are the most concentrated distillation of the myriad qualities of an ideal and beautiful person. It would be strange if they weren't loved by all.
I truly believe that there's nothing in this universe that matches a shota's beauty.
>>4015282And you're right.
>>4015245>But even a full blown feminist like Germaine Greer has expressed sentiments similar to those found in these threads that boys are loved by and above all and that this love is being suppressed to everyone's detriment.Your post reminded me that I have her book about the beauty of boys in PDF, and while I haven't read it yet, the illustrations are quite nice.I'm leaving a download link of the book since it was quite difficult to find it for free, in part for the stigma of the subjects it covers.https://files.catbox.moe/ti6nf5.pdf

The Allister plushie I ordered finally arrived (the package arrived two days ago, but I was out of town and couldn't open it until now) and I love it. I'm pleasantly surprised by the size of the plushie and the quality of the materials. From the photos I saw, I imagined it would be smaller and poorly finished, with loose threads and that strange smell that poor-quality fabric has. I'm also surprised that customs officials did not damage it during inspection and that I was not charged import duties for the toy.If it weren't for the fact that my house is currently covered in dust due to my absence, I would have my little son in my arms right now. Some pics of him:https://litter.catbox.moe/lrm1oy49ix2lthq8.jpeghttps://litter.catbox.moe/mt0gcfo3bt8s0kgd.jpeghttps://litter.catbox.moe/keav1cq2ucjrrxxb.jpeghttps://litter.catbox.moe/cs0zvgxhio6aytyd.jpeghttps://litter.catbox.moe/ns2zabg9z3m716u9.jpeghttps://litter.catbox.moe/au2u4kkz6vp9bfua.jpeg
