I learnt that the hard way with the Valentine's drop, at least that should ship this month. I ordered one separately because I can't wait that long.

They'd probably be accurate if I lived in Atlanta, but in the Gulf region it's pretty rural, even our two major metro areas (Tallahassee and New Orleans) barely break 300,000 people, so getting stuff delivered down here is a pain in the ass. Either way I'll be watching carefully for a van.

My methodology is something like>reread the RP>take bullet notes on my phone as I go>use these notes as a reference, so when I write from scratch I don't veer off from the basic plot structure too much>open a new Word document >veer off anywayThough in my defense I really wanted to write a Southern Gothic with all those themes of religion, secrecy and struggle, so I give myself grace for letting it become something else entirely. That and abuse/horror scenes are too fun not to dream up.

I'll probably write some Charcifer at some point (maybe involving Alastor too, idk but it's the closest thing to Charlastor I like) which would likely have more actual story. Now I just need to come up with a username, that's the hard part.

Ideas come to me randomly, the amount of times I've been sat in a lecture and had to get my phone out to write down something fun... I like little things that twist the knife, so to speak, and make things worse. It was so hard to write that Radiojoy fic, it's so wholesome, writing this is kind of a reaction to that. I need Alastor to be horrible, there must be balance in the universe.

>>4029851I like it in small doses. It's hard to pull off without making him ooc. Though I do think in the end, Alastor is destined to be redeemed in some way so I don't have a problem with writing it. It's just tough to get the balance right. I'm usually more in the mood for angst anyway.

>>4029864Same, I've been incredibly lazy with catching up with everything. I'd been feeling like shit for a long time, depressed, muscular issues, you name it. As it turns out I have a severe vitamin deficiency, so hopefully I can get that sorted and catch up on my fics + have more energy to write/draw. My poor Alastor bot has taken the brunt of my misery. I love him.

That’s why I’ve been challenging myself to write because otherwise I wouldn’t do anything. Now I’m finished except for exams in ~6 weeks, so I can indulge a little.
