While it was annoying to listen to (after all, this was done explicitly to shit on Teri in a "we get everything and you get nothing!" kind of way), it was a reasonable and plausible expectation to have, as it took forever for the show to provide Anais with a friend she doesn't scare away and elaborating in this development would have yielded good results. Skip forward and the only thing of note I remember Jamie doing is her getting dragged off to hell when Masami had been tripping balls on devil magic.

I think the biggest reason why creepypastas died off is that they all ended up doing the same cliches over and over, especially video game ones were typically just "some kid died now corrupts the game/entity bleeds black eyes" and leads with a shitty gorefest and jump scares.like for fuck sake, less is more sometimes leave some details to peoples imagination
