Why are troqs so easy to mind control?
>>151850117>Why is it people don't use hypnosis to improve themselves like with exercise or study?I don't want to cure cancer, I want to turn people into dinosaurs.
>>151850117Lots of people do. Hypnotherapists have been a thing for ages, but the mostly work in helping people get past whatever mental barrier is preventing them from achieving the goal. Removing whatever that "I want to but..." excuse is. Like "I want quit smoking, but I'm worried I'll be angry all the time" the therapist will put you into a relaxed state and say something like "you're going to try and skip having a smoke at lunch, and you're going to feel relaxed and calm" or something. It sounds stupid, but the idea is that the hypnosis puts you in a very relaxed mental state where you're more receptive to ideas or suggestions. That almost asleep moment where you're not really paying attention and will agree to something. But it cannot make you do something you don't want to do, and it won't even force you into a behaviour you might want, it's just to help ease the pathway in your mind. You can be under the deepest hypnosis and if a person says "cluck like a chicken" or "take off your clothes" or "Kill someone" it won't have the slightest effect.

>>151848525Chuck Jones was often very saccherine, and it's pretty well established that his animation style was a lot less embeleshed than his contemporaries, by design.I really like Chuck Jones, though.
Chuck Jones in his later years put off a lot of animation fans by elevating "his" work and coming across like an intellectual snob. This attitude ignored the fact that he did his best work with Michael Maltese. While Clampett was self-promoting in his own right (watch an old Beany & Cecil short and count the number of times you see Clampett's name), he never came across as snobbish.

>could save thousands of innocent people's lives with a simple action>doesnt do it because of "morality" or some stupid shit like thatWhy do people like Batman again?
>>151847480what i'm more upset about is that the batman is firmly against murder but is totally fine with even worse actions, like torture. killing someone is just ending a life, but the batman deliberately maximizes suffering when it suits his needs and/or he wants to do it.
>>151847480thats every superhero ever
>>151847867>Murder is not the action of a hero. Every hero basically has this rule, even if they don't go off about it all the time. It's more a trope of Super hero comics, mainly because they don't want to get rid of characters cause that threatens the sacred status quo. The Term "no kill rule" comes from cape comics. Heroes in any other genre are very happy to kill the bad guys. From 2d platformers video games to high fantasy books to 80s action flicks to even children's animated shows the hero could kill the bad guys and the audience wouldn't really think about it. Sure the average heroes wasn't doing a genocide run and would usual try to give the bad guy a chance to surrender but 9/10 times a villain like the joker would be dead by the end of the story in any other genre.>>151847545>Why didn’t Voldemort just kill the babyOh he tried but it back fired on him>Why doesn’t Lex Luther bribe city hall to outlaw SupermanI am pretty sure there are several comics where he actually does this>Why don’t time travelers just sterilize Hitler’s parentsCause shooting Hitler is more satisfying. But in all seriousness most stories reveal messing with history tend to lead to worse situations majority of the time>Why doesn’t Batman just shoot [x]Batman's morality.Every other example usually has someone failing to take the action, batman is the only one you listed that just won't cause he chooses not to.
>>151847480>batman kills jokeman>suddenly cant use the most popular villain in all of media anymore outside of flashbacks or "actually he didnt die cause he fell into a vat of alive juice for the ten thousandth time"shrimple as that. give bats a no kill rule and he can be a moralfag AND they can bring back the joker literally all the time without having to think.
>>151851346No. I mean it’s literally not heroic at all to kill. Most of what you’re talking about was probably done in battle or in self-defense, those aren’t the same. Every hero opposes killing. First example I can think of is Avatar. Aang made it a point to say he would not murder the fire lord and he didn’t.

Previous >>151814626Today we'll cover 2011.Last time, Summer was having problems adjusting to Keisha's addition to the basketball team which led to her playing poorly. But some advice from her visiting half-brother and seeing Keisha get roughed up by her old Big Walnut Tech teammates turned things around for Summer. The next season, with both their star players, the Lady Scapegoats were able to win the conference title though got trounced in the state tournament.Things, in contrast, went poorly for the Winkerbean men. Funky had to move his increasingly infirm father, Morton, into a nursing home, the economy had done a number on Montoni's forcing the closure of all but the original location, and he got into a bad car accident that may or may not have actually resulted in him traveling through time where he met his younger self. Wally, meanwhile, returned to Westview after having spent ten years as a captive in Iraq, even more scarred than the first time. He was forced to accept that Becky had moved on and had severe PTSD that left him a virtual shut in. He did manage to get a job at Montoni's though where he connected with and began dating Rachel who seem determined to try and help him by getting him hooked up with a service dog.And then there was Les. Cindy managed to get him in contact with a literary agent named Ann Apple who turned out to be the formerly homeless woman who had found his original manuscriptt for his John Darling book. She found a publisher willing to publish his book and by the next year, Les was on a book tour for Lisa's Story where his life was saved by Lisa's ghost calling in a bomb threat so that his plane was grounded. He also began officially dating Cayla, Keisha's mother, but things started to become complicated as Susan Smith helped him with his book, taking up more and more of his time with her teenage feelings for him having been reignited.
>>151850018I would agree.
Forgot to post it but I just realized last night that Les' name is a pun for 'less' and 'more'
>>151850428It's like there's still some issues with it, but it seems more tolerable in the colorized dailies than the black-and-white ones
>>151850618I would assume that it's a matter of the color strips being up to whatever syndicate or whatnot. I noticed that Mon-Sat strips in that John/Mooch Crankshaft story had different colors on GoComics vs. others I've seen so I assume there's no one definitive color version for the dailies since that was at the discretion of whoever. Only the Sundays are intended to actually be in color which is why Batiuk hires dedicated colorists for them (Loughridge and then Rob Ro).I'm not sure, though, how exactly the coloring process for strips works.
Rena is cute.She's cute!CUTE!
So there's any chance for a Gen 3, or this franchise is totally dead?
>>151850889Maybe this is my waifufag status showing, but I really could have used a scene where Zee demonstrates that she's easily the most powerful of the team.Like maybe she has to deal with some sort of magical bullshit, and the other five are being well-meaning but fundamentally getting in her way. Thoughts on the 1989 Legend of Zelda animated series?
>>151851881Fancomic for the game Hyrule Warriors. Good game.
I find adaptations, that have to come up with their own ideas because the source material was still lacking, to be really fascinating.
>>151845537He never looked like Zelda and this casting is much better
What if there was a more early industrial era LoZ game moving on from its previous fantasy kingdom aesthetic, the Link of that time period using some sort of magic musket instead of a bow which could be loaded with different enchanted shot much like the different enchanted arrowsThe new breath of the wild games went more into the magitech of the series with the giant guardians first defending the peace then being subverted, but this is more a smokier "Magic going away/becoming mundane" idea for a new aesthetic, villain of the storyline could be styled as a robber baron kind of figure who is chasing old legends to exploit them while the heroes end up discovering the beauty of the old ways in picking up relics during the quest to stop him... Ganondorfer doesn't even need to be possessing him, could just have his presence erupt near the end once the villain digs too deep and gets banished in a climactic boss fight showing the new incarnations of heroism have still got it.

>be Zootopia>create massive growth in the number of furries>be Zootopia 2>sequel now employs many people who likely became furries because of the first movie >increased paw shots, Nick and Judy’s asses are thicker, Gazelle’s hips are wider, Pawbert is wearing underwear under his pants and has a big butt himselfWas all this part of Disney's master's plan?
>>151840347nah not really, you can be attracted to non-humans without being a furry. Orca for example doesn’t count since she’s just a mutated human, or Katia since Khajiit are technically elves not actual animal people, or the Daxy from Assignment Risk since they’re aliens.
