She's been a core character in the New Mutants line since the 70s, has an interesting backstory of suffering, bondage, and child abuse; did portalling decades before it was even a thing, has split loyalties three ways between the X-Men + New Mutants (and her brother Colossus), her dark side demon imprinting, and her Russian heritage, and she's one of the strongest magicians on the mutant side. She's got backstory, character growth over decades, difficult conflicts to overcome, and complicated entanglements in the mutant multiverse. It's all here. The cheesecake is just the cherry on top of the wedding cake. Now Jubilee, THAT'S the cheap anime knockoff.
