Based on an alternative Frank design in a thread. Where he was more crazed serial-killer/obsessive looking.Frank went to war and his family died as normal. Frank is clearly mentally unstable and is surposed to take two pills twice a day to stay medicated and quiet. Legally, he is on a veterens pension.He takes 1 each time so he can ride that fine line between madness and focus.That does mean sometimes his loses count or his adventures metabolise them differently. Leaving to moments of psychosis like early Punisher, when he starts shooting at jaywalkers and such. He is grateful those times his aim gets bad.He doesn't talk to himself because he writes in his war-journal.He moonlights as a thug for hire to various mobsters and supervillians, just another ex-military/mercenary turned 2 page speedbumb for a hero in another comic. Stealing their gear, guns and cash when he or someone else takes them out. No one has figured out he's not aiming directly at them.He knows he's not stable and avoids other vigilantees. Even if he admires them.
