Combination of morbid curiosity and genuine enjoyment, there are some actually good comics out there especially once you break from the Big Two. Also since I pirate I can read anything I want only buying the actual good stuff. God I shudder at the days when me and my dad just bought shit

I enjoy them for the most part, but some of the availability of scans and piracy has made me keep up with them. If I had to pay by the floppy, I'd have given up.

I try to buy trades and shit to support the industry if I like something. I only collect a few books.

Even though it's free and easy to find comics online I only read USM & Moon Knight regularly, though I have been checking out the insane car pile up that is the new Hush arc in Batman. The rest, I just don't care.

I don't exactly keep up, but occasionally I pick up new comics if there's enough of a buzz around them or if a small following is loud and convincing. I've been disappointed by most of what I've picked up these past ten years. A lot of the stuff I find somewhat decent are indie and Euro comics.

I add stuff to my pullbox and likewise drop stuff as they lose my interest. I recently dropped Green Lantern Corps but added Green Arrow after Condon showed he understood Ollie in his Freshwater arc. That said, I am kinda just sticking with Ultimate Spidey and Ultimates until Endgame even though they're kinda not doing it for me anymore. There's just like 3 issues left so who cares at this point.
