Explain Forge's power to me, because as I understand it, it either doesn't make sense or it makes Forge the single most powerful Marvel character.
Let's say he's sitting in his living room in his underwear, drinking beer and watching women's volleyball. He gets a wild hair up his ass and wants to build a machine that can mind control every women's volleyball player on earth into becoming his sex slaves... and he does that and it works. Is that the gist of it? Why doesn't Forge build a machine to make himself God? Or are there limits?

Reality warper, but he has to manifest his will as a machine. Personally, I think that his education limits what he can do. He could make a cheese ray by simply willing it into being, but as an educated person who knows that cheese is a lacteus byproduct best he can do is a lactose intolerant ray

Mutants are bullshit.

>He subconsciously thinks up a lot of the processes involved in constructing machines.
>Has a mechanical arm.
>Can do native magic.

Let's not pretend like Reed hasn't built machines capable of killing gods.

It's super intelligence but Forge doesn't understand what he build or how it works.

Yeah but they explain that by him actually knowing science shit. He doesn't just hammer away at some junk in his labs because his DNA told him how. The issue isn't building crazy sci fi crap it's how they build crazy sci fi crap.

Forge is dummy

He isn't even in the top 10 smartest people on earth. His whole mutation is intelligence and he's not even as smart as a guy who had big hands and feet

who cares about forge

>His whole mutation is intelligence
No it's not. His mutation is being able to build impossible machines out of pure instinct. He's still a smart guy but he's no supergenius. He's explicitly NOT smart enough to fully understand the things he builds half the time because he builds out of instinct, not intelligence.

It's been a long time since I've read or watched anything with Forge, but it's probably better to think of him as a shittier magneto or electro. He can't actually do any of the things they can do himself, but has an intuitive understanding of electromagnetism that allows him to approximate some of the things they could do with technology. If someone else has built it, he probably can too.
