The problem is people don’t unionize to get higher wages. Everyone thinks they’re better than their fellow workers and want to flex their wealth in the others so they never work together.

That was my job. They fired me and over 300 other people in my position last month because the company I worked for, the company that outsourced to the company I worked for, and the client all could not agree on how the AI should be evaluated.

The level of incompetence was absurd. The company doing the outsourcing did not provide us with the ability to see the client's feedback and instead gave us a 180 page document to use to evaluate the AI (which itself was often useless for the situations they wanted us to evaluate it in).
The company that was paying me had their own internal documents which often contradicted the document from the outsourcing company and appeared to be AI generated at times in broken English.
Once it finally became apparent that we should have access to the client feedback and were granted this months later, we learned that the client was brain dead and wanted us to tell the AI that obvious malware infested websites were reputable.

So they fired like 300 people for doing the job based on the information we were given to do said job all while saying it was because we didn't meet "quality standards".

I'm pretty sure the AI is running the companies that are supposedly tard wrangling the AI.

The point you keep missing is that statistically, the middle class is getting more and more screwed over. You refuse to understand this is a systemic problem created by the rich and want to just say it's due to personal failings. But your framework falls apart when you look at the statistics that show everyone (the middle class), and not just individuals complaining on 4chan, are doing worse.

liberal politics on immigration and unionization are completely at odds with each other
more immigration = a larger and more fractured workforce that is also easily replaceable
which means the worker has less power to negotiate higher wages

You make a good point. I didn't want my comment to get too bloated. I guess the best phrasing would be "the poor and the middle class". How would you phrase it? >Are you joking about how conservatives only cherry-pick statistics that prove their worldview and pretend all other statistics are fake?
I'm sure he's joking. Conservatives think science is all gay and fake and even conjured up memes making fun of people who bring up studies and sources, but then will hang unto dear life unto shit that proves them right. Even if they don't understand it and it does not prove them right at all
>You could be joking or a snake trying to avoid the truth because it hurts your feelings
But this is also true, and you see it every other time you try to engage them. You address all of their point and all you'll get is le tranny stfu and sparky quips. They might be straight up skinheads but the minute you confront them, more than half of them will wiggle away and say it's all a joke or treat it like one. It's weirdly nihilistic, but most of these guys are loners and isolated so of course they act like this
This is encapsulated with the modern blue check on Twitter where they will get paid for post engagement, and thus are incentivized to act fucking retarded so they can get some extra 25 cents

You don't need to go to college to make good money. Becoming an electrician, plumber or mechanic's an option. The issue are the people thinking it's dirty work and the parents turning their kids away from it. My mom would always shit on it and claim they're jobs for dumbasses. Immigrants have unionized plenty of times before and gone against their bosses, and the bosses in turn call ICE on them and deport them. ICE and laws like this exist to have a permanent slave caste that you can always replace. If these workers were better paid and had better conditions, the CEOs wouldn't have the motive to so this. Because they'll have to treat them like any other worker, who also deserves respect
Wanting better conditions and pay and some respect is as intrinsic to being human as eating and fucking is, but you have an ideology that hinges on not viewing others as human

>>
>>150098079
That sounds like a regulation problem.
Companies hire migrant workers/ immigrants/illegals and then pay them less than the minimum wage required for the job as mandated by the government because these people have no rights or protections from the government of the country they are working in (even if the law says they do), or they just don't know any better.
If the illegals are removed then companies either lobby to get the immigration laws changed to get their slave labor back, or they move the jobs to other countries that have less oversight while claiming it is to make their product cheaper for the consumer. They then spin this in the news to try to get their way and paint any opposition as the current trendy buzzword to hate.
Companies would rather let the food in the fields ready to harvest rot than pay the hands that have to harvest it the minimum wage required to do the job.

Big businesses deserve nothing but contempt and scorn for creating this infinite loop of social self-sabotage.

Here's the reason. CEOs, large business owners, corporate, whoever is in charge is only concerned with the bottom dollar, their job is to make as much money RIGHT NOW as possible to appease the stock holders because if numbers are not going up forever and ever, then the company is obviously failing.
So they cut costs, they get rid of entire departments sometimes. One of those departments is often the hiring department that actually knows what the company needs, what jobs need to be filled, and what positions actually need to be created for the long term success of the company.
With the hiring departments gone or severely downsized, the business leaders are free to feed their wish list of qualifications to an AI and it craps out an auto generated job posting that is totally divorced from reality asking for 5 years of experience and a college degree to work as a burger flipper.
The AI is a programmed yes-man ass kisser and companies love having fewer internal departments giving them cold, harsh reality checks to what the human condition actually is.

So that's the reason.
