Same anon who storytimed the Wish graphic novel. Felt like a palate cleanser and I got the comic of an actual good Disney movie in the same bundle, so why the hell not. Bump if reading, anons, and enjoy.
>Judy's feet to the faceGideon ought to count himself lucky he got that for free, some anons would pay good money for that.
>>150097069These comics just tell the same story as the movies?
>>150097069Thanks, AnonA bit unrelated but is the 3D Blu-Ray good?
Here Judy proves she is as swift as the coursing river, with all the force of a great typhoon.
>>150097227Yes anon, they're straight adaptations with a few changes to suit print.>>150097232No idea, anon. Don't own any films in that format myself.
>>150097373
Of course in real life, smugly waving legal documents in a cop's face is liable to get you arrested anyway on principle.
The art is pretty faithful to the movie but the paneling is pretty flat and dull, even if its a really fast crash course of the movie it kinda makes the story beats feel less noticeable because of that.
>>150097069Should be interesting.
Slightly off topic but since Zootopia 2 seems to be taking place about a week after Judy and Nick become partners i assume the ongoing sequel comic isn't canon.
>woman is able to barge into the chief's office unaccostedMaybe having the fat fuck as your sole means of security is a poor idea.
>>150097798Well, how often does someone breaks INTO a police department?
>>150097841I never realised until this panel how much of the plot hinges on Judy not being in the computer system. I feel like that could be rectified in like 5 minutes and then we could skip over half the movie.
>captcha: XXGAY
>>150097898I wonder how is Judy not on the system. She's been working for atleast two days. How is she registering her parking violations?
Whoops, managed to swap the last 2 panels. Forgive the aberration, anons.
And now we're back in order again. Apologies again.
We will not attempt to explain the logistics of how Judy got one handcuff onto the ankle of an agile moving jaguar and the other end onto a pole in less than 3 seconds.
I feel like mouthing off to the chief of police is a very bad idea, but never tried it personally.
>we both know what they have in commonName the pred, Lionheart. You don't have the balls.
>>150098164Always found it a bit ludicrous that a team of professional doctors could not identify the obvious toxins in the animals' bloodstream, or that it wouldn't have worn off by now. What is the half-life of psychoactive flower goop?
>tfw your new friend suddenly reveals they're into eugenics
>I am so revoking your n-word pass, Judy.
>meter maid starts race war
Home stretch in the race against 404.
The comic doesn't specify, but in the movie the other two sheep here are called Walter and Jesse.
The movie never really explains who these sheep bodyguards are. They don't seem to be actual cops and we don't see them in the police station. They just materialise here and then vanish afterwards. Are they corrupt officers planted by Bellwether?
Bellwether's speech here about population counts is when the racial allegory starts to get a bit on the nose for me. It's only two steps removed from her saying "and then we'll round the fucking nogs up and gas them."
If any anons are reading, now would be the time to bump.
And so everyone got over their racism and learned that sometimes it's okay to relax.
>omitting the line about them loving one anotherWhat a joke.
The end. Thread's on the verge of 404'ing, but I can rest easy knowing I made it. Thanks for coming anons.
>>150098520What's the point of this comic? i can only see it as promotional material for the movie, because it just retells the story in a lesser way.
>>150098774Same as any graphic novel adaptation I suppose, if you fancy the story of the movie on the go.
>>150097574these are always like that, something in production
>>150098774honestly kinda just tradition. used to be these would be useful for kids who can't watch the movie, but nowadays movies are super easy to watch.
I wanna do nasty sex with Judy.Is it jist me?
>>150097986Because they don't want her there
>>150098441I think that's a you problem.
mating
I did read things like this when I was young(er). I get it, in an age when you don't have a TV screen everywhere, it pays to have something with you to read, in place of the actual movie. But in the first world, what is a point of a direct abridged comic adaptation?
>>150099530You are the first one to ever suggest such a thing>>150100068I wish they took some liberties but you are pretending to be stupid if you dont understand that in comic form it feels different than watching the movie and its not strictly worse
>>150100129Wow, rude much? Just don't see the point if you have the option to watch the movie.
>>150098500Basically the worst choice possible.
>>150097740That mouse in the lower-left is getting a nice view
>>150098500She loves humans only.
>>150101716We all want to be that mouse. Everyone claiming otherwise is lying.
Latinamerican guy here. Unrelated, but the movie dub has Nick being voiced by the same guy who has been voicing Vegeta for over twenty years. The movie felt weird and funny every time Nick had something cocky to say.
>>150098321It always bothered me that such a dangerous common decoration would be unknown to a character previously established to be knowledgeable about plants.>>150097798Wait, about THIS EXACT plant. She knows it's exact name but was never warned about what it does?
