is a bat credit card really that implausible?
In theory, it IS probably a good idea for Bruce to have a way to pay for things in a pinch when he's in costume. Never know when it could come in handy. And it's not like he can carry cash.
>>150099991>GOOD THOUGH: FOREVERkek
>>150099991>>150100015I wonder how Clooney was able to deliver the line "Don't leave the cave without it" without wanting to kill himself.
>>150099991Bruce owns the banks so it wouldn't be out of the ordinary
>>150100035>Bruce Waynestein
>>150099991nine cashiers out of ten would just outright refuse to let you scan it like that thing people do when they put a scanner chip in like a fish or something but to be fair like >>150100004 said it's probably a good idea to be able to pay for stuffunfortunately i think this might get batman in trouble with the internal revenue service
>>150099991Actually, it's a pretty funny joke now that I think about it.
>>150099991It works best for when he has to get drive thru
>>150100030on top of a pile of money, with many beautiful women>>150099991these movies were intentionally more like the 60s show in that they played up the gags, but there were equally stupid bits in the earlier moviesfor example, the idea of Batman having a secret jet nobody knows about or can trackit's Battlefield Earth levels of retarded
>>150099991>batman having a line of creditokay>batman having millions of dollars' worth of credit and it not being suspiciousfuckin lol
>>150100004have you ever heard of fucking cash?
>>150100030because it's funny and the movie is already a fucking farce.
>>150100030some people have a sense of humor and don't take everything seriously anon
>>150099991DOES NOT COMPUTE
>>150099991It is not any more impractical as some of the other bat-themed shit he has in those movies. No idea why the Nostalgia Critic freaked out at this one in specific when this version of Batman has a Batmobile that has tired that leave a bat-pattern on the road that anyone could follow to find the Batcave.
>>150099991Stop letting e celebrities live in you mind
>>150099991I mean, if it is in the GothCard network, they probably made the underlying access technology so it should work in theory. the rel question is how are the transaction/merchant fees
>>150100004>And it's not like he can carry cash.>>150102652>have you ever heard of fucking cash?Is there any reason he can't just have a little cash in the utility belt? or even just tucked into a boot?
>>150099991Not for a well established Batman who is also a duly-deputized agent of the law. It’s an honorary thing, it shows trust on the part of the bank and by extension the people of Gotham.
>>150103468No, if anything he'd know exactly how to make the most of it, making sure the bills are unmarked and don't have his DNA all over them.
>>150099991This would infer there's a bank or other financial institution that's willing to offer an unlimited line of credit to an anonymous man who dresses up like a bat to beat up criminals on a nightly basis, with no means to actually verify his identity or ability to pay said credit at all, or some kind of collateral of any kind. So no, not implausible at all
>>150099991A bat credit card? That's nice.
>>150100004>And it's not like he can carry cash. Why not? What's stopping him?
