How would you handle their overnight schedule?
Current Schedule for reference
12 hours of Porkys Butthole but only the real shit ones starring Freddy the Flounder or some shit
>>150104044>>150104055Fuck I don't know. I guess I'd replace it with a six hour marathon of 3D animated MLP futanari animations
>>150104055>Airing all the good stuff when everyone's asleepAir that earlier and swap most of the Hanna-Barbera for Fox Kids/WB. Maybe also the early Cartoon Cartoons. Histeria is on it and that aired from 98 to 00 so it's possible.
>>150104092Until what we know which company inherits the CN Library in next year’s split, those shows are stuck in cable purgatory
>>150104055Soon subject to change. We're about a week and a half away from TMNT joining the 80s block in the mornings. Also, that awkward moment when everything from Mr. T to Casper on Sundays is skipped over because of paid programming. Didn't even know Baby Looney Tunes was already airing here (though that's a bullet I'm glad missed).
>>150104044>>150104055Sunday seems alright. Saturday I'd ditch Gobots, Pac-man and add in He-Man, Transformers G1, Bravestarr. Weeknights is the hardest. You really need some shows with a ton of episodes to run through. Something like Lupin III if they can get it. Maybe the old TMNT show. Felix could be good. I think they also have a half hour block on fridays or saturdays of new content from people online or try to do a fifteen minute show like their own Space Ghost Coast To Coast which they should also be airing.
>>150104044Ditch the WACKY WACKY WACK WACK
>>150104044>>150104055I would do something like Late Night Black & White and show old Betty Boop Shorts and such like CN used to do before Adult Swim was a thing. Bonus points if they can actually have animation aficionado tidbits and do sort of a Toon Heads thing.
>>150104065Best answer so far.
>>150104044rarely aired shlock and 80's toy show shlock
>>150104055Make the second Speed Racer either Battle of the Planets or Voltron.
>>150105222Battle of the Planets is dead as Frank no longer holds the rights to it or the G-Force dub and Gatchaman has a proper English dub now. That said, I'd buy the rights to One Piece since there are like 600-800 episodes dubbed now and it could easily take up 5-6 hours overnight as far as being the Dark Shadows of MeTV's toon channel.
>>150105851>>150104254One piece is still ongoing which also means the broadcasting rights are not cheap, Also the MeTV people are only interested in mostly G-rated content from the companies they have licensed to.
Bump
>>150104044I am disappointed there is no alloment made for feature films. Why not the Jetsons movie at 2:00 in the morning?
>>150104044By making it available over the air for me so I can actually turn it on.
>>150107985They've usually been saving movies for special occasions on Sundays. They did 'Hey There! It's Yogi Bear' to promote the premiere of all their Hanna-Barberra stuff, and they're going to air 'The Jetsons Meet the Flintstones' and 'The Man Called Flintstone' as part of the Flintstones Anniversary marathon they're having. Meanwhile, the other MeTV channels have access to the Peanuts movie lineup.
>>150105851>Battle of the Planets is dead as Frank no longer holds the rights to it or the G-Force dub and Gatchaman has a proper English dub now. That wouldn't be a problem since Tatsunoko owned the dubs for a while now. Unless they have a clause stating that it MUST be the faithful dub, they can easily license something boomers could recognize like BotP to Shout Factory as with Speed Racer. >One Piecelmao, no.
