But I actually like/don't mind dark and gritty Scooby Doo. Don't get me wrong the jaunty and goofiness is cool and it's what I grew up on but I would absolutely love a dark and gritty story. Like, imagine Scooby and the Gang falling ass backwards into some cold war, CIA, state secrets, MKultra and becoming enemies of the state.
