The TV guides still show the descriptions for what looks like future season episodes but there's been no word what so ever if there actually will be another season. It's nearing it's first year anniversary, which is about how long it took some of their other shows to air their second season, but that we have no news at all is weird.

And honestly, after that first fight with Mbrandon, she didn't really need Mikey to be her ring guy since she was figuring everything out on her own which sort of undermines him being there. Which all plays into her becoming good far too soon. Let her be more rough at the start. Hell, maybe even have her lose every fight until the rematch with The Perm Gang. Also, the perfect strike is lame as fuck which makes her doing all this to learn it suck.

>>150120108True. That's another thing I think hurt the show. They played things like they'd probably get more seasons but there's no guarantee they actually will. A slow burn is fine and even good for character moments and world exploration but when this stuff is up to chance it's hard to say if it's worth the risk. Maybe a short time jump, like an episode that showed her training with Goldie and the other Busters may have done her some good. I still don't think more episodes would have helped the shitty Perfect Strike thing but it would have helped everything else.
>>150113403Yeah, I hear that. That's why I held off too. But I watched it and it is nowhere near terrible. She is definitely not invincible and constantly takes bumps. The weirdest thing is they use a LOT of pan and scan like 1970s anime to have the illusion of movement. The stuff that is animated is animated well but most of the time it is the camera moving and people are in static poses. It won't trigger your woke-dar though so if you have some time, give it a shot and come to your own conclusion.
