It seems obvious to you and me, but some cursory observations of the experiment were, "social animals with poor living conditions are more likely to turn to chemical substances (in the experiment they used morphine) than those with enriched lives." There's obviously more to it than that but that would be a massive segue on a topic that's barely hanging on to being /co/ related in the first place.
