So Pomni and Rags had to try to fix it themselves without Caine knowing, while also investigating the properties of Caine food to learn more about how he works and therefore his weakness. And for some reason they had to accomplish this by setting up a Caine dummy with fake guts and a fake beating heart to do fake surgery on as a cover for what they were actually doing.

Got a dream show so throwing out one of my other ideas:>Alt-history wild west show, where mathematical adjustments to your "life equation" creates magical spells, following a Mathematician Bounty Hunter who sucks at Maths and "guesses" his spells, which unfortunately pretty much leaves him constantly at <=2 days to live unless he defeats bounties. Monster of the Week format with different bounties that explore a mathematical concept and gives them a unique spin as a real world spell (IE: Someone who can split themselves into an infinite series, a dangerous criminal who only knows one spell which is divide by 0, which can end all life etc.).
