What does the name Anti-Monitor even imply? Is his thing not looking at what other people are doing?
He is the antimatter counterpart to the positive matter Monitor.
What's the best Anti-Monitor design? I do like his whale teeth, but he always looks like a quintessential comic book action figure rather than this giant mechanical threat to the multiverse
>>150127114Garbage villain with a garbage design and name.
>>150127326Those are lips
>>150127452Why does DC think presenting a villain we've never seen before with no backstory and no relation to heroes at all and having them cause such major events is such a good idea? There is no emotional impact at all but they do it all the fucking time. Like this guy killed almost everything as well as the Flash and Supergirl and he's just some generic thing. Or like Doomsday, generic looking design appears out of nowhere immediately kills Superman. It's just bad story telling.

>>150127114They couldn't just keep calling him the Monitor.
>>150128312Because you can kill him forever... or not.
He looks better with the big armor with whale teethHis design is so silly but pretty iconicOtherwise he just looks like a generic pale villain
>>150128447Those aren't teeth, he doesn't have teeth. He's never had teeth. It's just disgusting, wrinkly old man lips.
>>150128644I knowBut they look like whale teeth with the round armor which makes it a better design even if it looks more silly
>>150127114The DC multiverse lore makes no sense. The monitor was born on oa and the anti monitor on qward. But there's probably more than one oa given that there are multiple universes. And they apparently fought each other for millions of years but nobody knew about them until they happened to wake up and nobody noticed until it was too late. Also the monitor gave weapons to villains to test the heroes and see if they were ready for the anti monitor? Why not just give them weapons and warn them about what's coming? Also is the monitor's space station it's own universe or what? The highlight of the crisis for me was seeing luthor and brainiac team up to take over the multiverse. The rest was meh.
>>150128312That's how we have a big event villain that is meant to die at the end. If they have no emotional weight then no one will care if they are killed off by issue #6.
>>150128334....what order am i supposed to read these boxes?
>>150130807Basically all those books suck, so don't.
>>150129734In the 0ss they came up with a whole council of Monitors and one of them was evil. I don't think Mandrak is even canon any longer. He was not mentioned in the modern Perpetua shit.
>>150128318>PerpetuaFucking Snyderslop. He's called the Anti-Monitor because he's The Monitor of the Anti-Matter universe.
>>150131033His whole history is described in COIE.

>>150131087
>>150131100
>>150131117
>>150128447>>150128644his design becomes way more silly when it's a wrinkly face because it just makes him look dumblook at his big stupid frown on his face here
>>150128318>>150128334>>150128358Yeah, lips.
>>150128644That's a Rock Man. He seems to not have a static form. I like to think he has a Galactus effect where we cannot comprehend their true form. They appeared as pure negative energy at the end of Crisis on Infinite Earths.
>>150131432Those are clearly turnips.
