I stopped watching Rick and Morty when they kicked out Roiland and brought in all the feminist writers. Recently, I saw an episode playing at my local bar. God, everything about it as changed. It wasn't even trying to be funny anymore. It felt so streamlined, like it was made in a room full of brainddead suits. And the female-driven writing is way too obvious.

And both times it's when the chips are down and things look bad for him. In my head, he isn't atheist. He's a foxhole Christian.

Roiland has something to do with it, but I do prefer Ridley's writing over everyone else's. He was gone for a brief period and I really felt his absence. P sure he's a hidden central figure not enough people talk about. the show is very unpalatable but you can get something from it...like Loli beth.
