What did you think about StuGo?

>>150132571
>>150132455I like Francis in this pic. Won't say more.
Any poses I should put Merian in?
>>150132814Assertive.
Francis a cute.
>>150132860I ask cause sometimes nothing comes to mind
I'm sincerely thankful for this StuGo images thread. It's so nostalgic.
>>150133056damn pliny, that's kinda morbid
>>150133020
>Fuck, go back.
>>150133456cute!
>>150132455Best show of the year. Francis and Chip are the best characters.
>>150132814>>150133053Draw her going insane like this
Death to the videodrome, long live the flesh.
>Another image dump fag thread.>Anons are replying to this. The board is in critical condition with this image dump bot.>>150133126Here's a (You) for venting my frustration towards another image dump thread
>>150133126It is nostalgic. Shame it's fucked a bit by it being another thread dumbed by the image dumb bot. At least it usually only ever does the dump once so thread should be fine going forward. Just a tough way to start.
>>150134905Nice
>>150134812It's crazy to think how we actually had a sex slave in a Disney cartoon
>>150134775ketchkakke.
Probably the funniest kid's cartoon I've seen in a while, I'm going to be pissed if this doesn't get a season 2.
Very cute funny show. And NOT just because I wanna fuck the girls this time!Though that definitely gets it bonus points.
>>150132814Behind the wheel of an automobile. That or like Jair Bolsonaro.
>>150134522You could have put Chip or Larry.
>>150134389>>150136307why do they do this anyway
>>150138250
>>150139160
>>150138917>Jair bolsonaroWho?
I like how the show's threads were organic and fun with no real world politics or crew hangups inserted, the best art came from here too!
I painted some stugo related art since last threadhttps://files.catbox.moe/nmna4d.jpghttps://files.catbox.moe/m671lp.jpghttps://files.catbox.moe/dyv0e7.jpghttps://files.catbox.moe/o8g7jl.jpgI still have some pending requests from a previous thread.
>>150139360Yeah, screw him, just do her behind the automobile thing. Like a Ferrari Testarossa.

>>150139540Fantastic! Great to see these finished.
>>150139044No clue. Think he's been at it for over a year now. But the filenames are always the same so it's easy to notice.
>>150133673Quick sketch
>>150140691thanks comrade I like it
>>150140691Looks like Merian got into the wrong batch of beige.
>>150139540Love your art. StuGo and otherwise. Good stuff.
>>150134938>>150134957Nice but Larry belongs to Zora so...
>>150134475Wonder what happened to this artist.
>>150142121Sara is in for it when that comes out.
>>150139962some insight (1/2):>Who came up with Stugo voice in the intro?- was inspired by 60s adventure shows, namely how shows would repeat the name of random thing.>What was development like?- was typical for an animated show (it was long). Remarks that he's grateful the show came as far as it did; saw other shows either fell to the way side or did not get picked up in a shifting period like today.>Was there supposed to be a reference to Palm Rot (Ryan's short) in stugo?- Ryan wanted to include the old man from short (it sounds like it was meant to be in the first episode), but Disney did not like the idea of a weird old guy in a kids show.>Was Stugo he only idea pitched or were there other ones?- there were others, but stugo was both the only only one that made it and one that made it the longest. Another idea Ryan had was "speedo ghost">Was what the inspiration for the kids?- the kids was based on a study group Ryan had in the Bahamas/the spellbound documentary. Manolo was also mentioned and Ryan's pitch for him is just "his parents bribed his way in". Both Ryan and Disney didn't like him.>Why was development so long (6 years)?- Show as pitched a lot and there were different versions. An early version had the kids be way more anxious and with no mutants (this was always a part of the show, but Ryan felt it was too much at once to dump onto the audience). That version tested poorly, but Disney was interested enough to give Ryan another chance. >How was titmouse involved?- Ryan says that Disney is experimenting with how to produce shows in the current market and they wanted a 3rd party option and not to make it in house. Ryan does have a history with titmouse and made the titmouse suggestion to them, among other potential studios (they were not named).
>>150139962>>150144114(2/2)>How was Sunil Hall involved?- Ryan asked him to join cause of his experience on Gravity Falls and Ryan was partially unsure of how to handle a show on his own.>Was there another pilot?- On top of the 2 pilots, there was another version of dog eat dog where it had another mutant. Interestingly, episodes were produced out of order (this was a suggestion from Sunil, gets the kinks out of production basically). "Noodling it" (4th episode) is technically the first episode to be animated.Would you change anything now that the show is out.- Ryan feels content with the show and looks at his experience with it as just "what's done is done". He can't name any major argument or conflict during production beyond "what would a kid do?"Other tidbits- people in the studio do love animals to the point of emphasizing their weird features. - Show was initially called "Very Safe Contest". Ryan's pitch bible does not follow the typical 20 page average you see with other shows. When he was pitching it, he would summarize pages with jokes to get the point across.
>>150144114>Manolo was also mentioned and Ryan's pitch for him is just "his parents bribed his way in". Both Ryan and Disney didn't like him.Interesting that Manolo was brought up again. The concept stuff show that he seems to have been written out early on, what with him never making it to most of the finished character sheets and the concept stuff we've seen, but I guess it was also that the crew didn't really like the character concept either.
>>150144144>>150144114Thanks for the summary.
>>150133560It's kind of funny the one time we saw her with her hair down it was frazzled and wild from electricity so we still don't really know how it would look like down.
It’s been a month since Stugo came out on plus. You think we’ll hear something soon?
>>150144162Weird since his Chicho Tik Tok has a file with his model sheet.
>>150146365Oh this is a pretty recent post. I had wondered if he or anyone else had said anything regarding the show. Guess this is some sort of news. Even if it's that things are still undecided. Only thing for it is to just stream and support it best you can and spread word of the show if you're able.
>>150146420It is pretty odd. As far as I remember our only looks at him were from very early concept art but nothing else really. Seems like he became a crew in joke afterwards.
>>150133053Looking cute and stylish.
>>150132814Tara and Meriam cat calling a pod of wild dolphins
>>150139540Really cute, quite funny. Thats impressive, these designs dont lend themselves to smut.
>>150146365I did my part, rented Disney+ and watched the first batch of episodes on a loop during all august. The moment the second half is up, I'll do it again. Also while I was there I checked Spider-man unlimited and holy shit it's bad, I remember liking it as a kid but without nostalgia lens is horrible.
>>150148233That's all one can ask for. Thanks for doing what you can anon. I made sure to do the same and tell who I could about the show and drew some stuff for it as well. Here's hoping we get some good news for the show soon.
>>150138313Girl loves her sauce.
>>150141393When the beige doesn't hit right
I hope we get more Stugo, this show was a bright spot this year, funniest thing Disney TV has made in a while.
>>150150932Same. It's easily one of my favorite shows in a long while and I really hope to see these characters and their island again. It's not even been a year but I found myself really attached to them.
Actual 9 or 10/10 show. After a long streak of loretism, juvenile shipping obsession, and overly serious "dark" story arcs, its style of comedy was a huge breath of fresh air, and even after that the characters are still lovable without getting too sappy.
>>150151129Lullah giving Chip a hands on experience. How thoughtful.
>>150151129She’s giving him the himelich maneuver how sweet.
>>150146365I hope so. About a year seems to be the longest reasonable wait a show can be given but news should be coming before that.
>>150151129Chip trying to steal another drink that wasn't beige
>>150146365Man, I hope kids enjoy Stugo enough for it to get renewed. I’m a poorfag who doesn’t have Disney+ so I can’t help unfortunately.
>>150153487Do you at least have cable/satellite TV?
>>150154419No, not even American and I don’t think any TV channel in my cunt is showing it.
>>150154658have you tried looking in your asshole?
>>150155212Pliny's massive secret pickle. Where's the full pic?
>>150155212What merian looking at?
>>150153487Wouldn't hurt to spread the word on the show online in the spaces you visit. Every little bit helps.
>>150156980Pliny bragged and Merian wants to double check how big
I hope to see Merian make it far in the brackets this year
>>150157943I hope so. She's tricky since she's Disney but she's also so under the radar that she may be able to squeak by on no one having much against her and voting against whoever she's paired up with.
>>150157943the other disney lore shows have too much pull around here so I doubt it
>>150158182Those shows never get anywhere in the voting. At most maybe one character will luck out and make it past the first round but after that they get spite voted out. Maybe things have cooled off this year, but I really doubt it.
>>150151128>loretisim“Lore” is already a meaningless buzzword in /co/ you didn’t need to go the extra mile fag
>>150155212impressive packing
>>150159109no it isn't and yes I did
>>150151129Bro just wanted his Bad Boy Water.
