is there any concrete and useful tip to improve my shitty artstyle to make more soulful and cartoonish as well just like the artists i want to mimic thier artstyles, everytime i think that my drawings would be look as what i would think it would look like but turns out to be messyLooking back at my drawings i even posted here and other sites i think it looks so repulsive and my old personality was also insufferable but i madurated i also received negative feedback such as "it looks it was drawn by a sixth grader" or "ewww drawn in ms paint" and i have to admit that i agree with those opinions despite being a grown womanchildI would post this thread on a another board but /ic/ is filled with boring artist drama and porn garbage

Focus on UNDERSTANDING what you copied from them and how you were able to replicate it and try doing it again but without looking at those artist's work this time, do it on your own and see what you get right and what you fail at and how to improve. Practice makes perfect anona. Don't give up!
