The random porn-bait halfway through felt so phoned in and obvious that I felt secondhand embarrassment and just closed the tab.

>>150138207Alright real review. The character dynamics are a bit obnoxious. Blue guy is your typical beta wuss type character, Pink girl is vapid and obnoxious and Yellow guy feels like eh's meant to be the analytical straight man but he's written like Sheldon from Big bang theory. I actually think the secret agent team has a better dynamic with the purple chick being this nervous intern nervously trying to put on a nice human resources spin to being secret agents, the no-nonsense super spy with the very frank and direct way of dealing with things and the dumb muscle. I would probably rather watch a show about just them than this sorta fusion of the two concepts.The humor is kinda mediocre. There were a few jokes that made me smile (I admit "Gene Hack Man" got a dumb chuckle out of me) but most of it felt pretty standard. The influencer's gonna say vapid influencer shit, the bleeding heart is gonna say beta self deprecating shit and the yellow guy hates this and talks like how a boomer thinks smart people talk.The worst part is I feel the purple girl was probably the most interesting character so her being the villain at the end basically kills a major part of the dynamic I would've looked forward to if any more of this was ever made. Also losing the printer means we lose the idea of infinitely cloning the dumb muscle which was the one aspect of his character I thought was really fun. He was basically infinitely disposable. Altogether the pilot as a concept sacrifices most of its most interesting aspects to establish what the new status quo of the series would be, and that status quo is worse than the best parts of the pilot.
