I think the concept of hero factory would be amazing if they leaned hard into the company behind making the freelance robot super heroes be super sleazy and corrupt like the company from robocop
>>
>>150140961
No, OP's right, Ninjago is the poor man's Bionicle. HF is the homeless man's Bionicle.
>>
>>150140711
I guess?
Putting the different time frames aside, Ninjago benefited greatly from being just a cartoon. As such, it was easier for kids to follow and get what was going on. Don't get me wrong, when pieced togethe, Bionicle is megakino, but it's that, a puzzle that had to be assembled and some simply did not have the time, income or resources to do so.
I like both anyway, but i'm willing to admit that ninjago went on for longer than should have. S3 was neat but already thought it was weird the shift from dragons and a fight between light and darkness to cyborgs, and i tuned out entirely by s4.

Bionicle had a few animated movies but i dont think lego had the budget for a full on series in the 2000s but by the 2010s they could afford the ninjago show

Everyone hated hero factory for replacing bionicle

That was actually the original idea but it doesn't work for a toyline for kids

It can still work, you can put satire in their just not have as much violence and sex and swearing like robocop had. Hell even robocop had kids toylines in the 80s so even that was fair game.

I preferred Monkie Kid, the superior Lego show.
fucking sad they've abandoned it as a theme and has no new sets upcoming
>>
>>150143076
I saw it got only two sets this year. Are those confirmed to be its last? I know it was only available on legos website or at lego stores here in america
>>
>>150143114
There's been no announced upcoming ones or even leaks, so it seems to be dead.
There's also been no news about any season 6 of the show as far as I know.

I guess marketing to china is no longer feasible. Were the last two sets that got released this year featured in the show? Because i never watched the monkey kid cartoon. Flying bark is overrated i always found the hype surrounding them annoying since they made that crappy TMNT show

Rise of the tmnt was fucking awful and its only fans are horny fujoshis who wanna contract salmonella from fucking twink donatello from that show.
