It's been a rough year.
Superman and Thunderbolts deserved better. It wasn't their fault Marvel and DC have been pumping out garbage for years. I haven't seen Fantastic 4.

Remember that during the MCU's golden years they had some films that didn't do as well as Man of Steel or BvS but DC only had one film that hit more than $1 billion (Aquaman) while Marvel Studios had 8 films that made more than a billion, two of which hit 2 billion.Don't forget that DC had a string of flops and underperformers starting with COVID. The Suicide Squad got by as being a film that was streaming at the same time in theaters and Aquaman 2 may or may not have made its budget back. The MCU took a while for audiences to lose goodwill with it
