Rick and Morty, but you want to fuck the scientist.
Was the show really that bad?
>>150152067I thought it was alright, honestly. Not exactly my cup of tea, but it does what it intends to do well enough.
>>150152067It was a solid show. With another season, it could've been one of the best on Netflix
Was she worth Ron's love?
>>150152090Didn't Netflix cancel this to make that Elvis secret agent show instead, or whatever? I legit wasn't playing attention when the news of the cancellation dropped. No idea why it was cut short.
>>150152061>Wife
>>150152061>make a show about conspiracies theories>only do the lamest normalfag memes like reptilians What this show lacked was some /x/schizo on the writing team
>>150152222>Gimmick of the show is "a world where every conspiracy theory is true">The Catholic Church controls the world, instead of the JewsWait, so they're saying the Jews controlling the world is NOT a conspiracy theory?
>>150152067YesIts more modern day>sell show on interesting premise>commit to premise for pilot and maybe one more episode>sideline premise for relationship drama the rest of the seasonPeople came for a government conspiracy show not a jewess and her daddy issues show
>>150152061But I already wanted to fuck Rick
>>150152061It's like if Rick and Morty was shit the whole time instead of after season 1
>>150152293>Threesome with the two so they can harvest the DNA in your sperm and fuse it with a cow to create a clone who will be sent into space to be enslaved by royal purple sharks, because the two are bored
>>150152281Damn. That blows.
>>150152061Wasn't there a R34 artist for this show who got caught tracing hentai and just sapping the characters' faces?
>>150152067No not really, its just a bit more grounded humor than Rick and Morty. While the themes if the shows are similar the comedy is different. Also Reagan is a much more likeable chars ter than Rick intentionally. She's written to be a mad scientist but with a moral compass. Her dad is written more like Rick an Ego Maniac who only has a moral compass for his own agender mostly his family. At least that's what Rick used to be like.
>>150152254Pretty sure that's just anti simistism
>>150152067No it in the least. It was perfectly B Tier
>>150152814Wrong fag
>>150152061So Rick and Morty? HEY-O
>>150152067>>150152090i actively avoided the show because the artstyle made it look just another show riding the Rick and Morty hype trainthis really shows why first impressions matter
>>150152061There's a comic called The Department of Truth. It's the same premise but played completely seriously, and it actually reads like it was made for schizocore types instead of normies. The writing and pacing is excellent. It's basically X-files for modern audiences.
>>150152067The humor was terrible. Alex Jones parody. The drama was far superior.
>>150152067Flawed but had potential. It was one of the few times the main character is better than the comic relief side cast.
>>150152067It was decent but it could've done a lot more. I don't mind it being an animated sitcom but the humor is a bit generic (and admittedly the style too). Reagan though is a cute
>>150152061Their friendship alone eclipsed anything with Rick and Morty tbdesu. It's so rare for a show to portray a fun male-female friendship that doesn't turn into romance.
>>150153690Taking a potshot at Joe Rogan for being "le alt right" was pretty cringe, and only there because the writers were out of touch women without somebody around to tell them they were being retards.>>150154874I did like these two interacting, something about dour women getting cheered up by positive dudes is sweet.
>>150152067If they didn't try appealing to social media so hard i'd be better
>>150152061but I want to fuck the mushroom
>>150153690To be totally fair, an Alex Jones parody made sense in the context of the Bohemian Grove episode because he’s the reason a lot of the conspiracy theories about it exist.
>>150152315I accept, but only if the mushroom guy is involved.
>>150152061>Rick and Morty, but you want to fuck the scientist. So regular Rick and Morty?
>>150154874>It's so rare for a show to portray a fun male-female friendship that doesn't turn into romance. At least I hope it stays that way. I don't really see them being romantic partners, I barely see them having sex.
>>150152067No, everybody liked it
>>150159792The number of Inside Job fans I saw hoping for Brett & Reagan to grow closer romantically was exhausting. Maybe it's for the best the show was prematurely cancelled
>>150162532Not me I still think Reagan should have drunken loud hate sex with Myc.
>Reagan's face when she was reminiscing about Ron's schlong in the officeHow big and good was this man in the sack?
>>150159792>>150162532With the end of season 2 seemingly telling her the love of her life would be miserable if they had ever run away together, leading to her wiping his mind and letting him live a life of ignorant bliss without her it certainly made me wonder what her romantic endeavors would end up being. And Brett as the guy who's always there and supports her unequivocally would have been pretty high on that list.
>>150152061I already wanted to fuck Rick.
>>150162532>>150162552realistically, I could see Reagan have some justifiable reason for having sex with these members of Cognito>Reagan: She's like one excuse away from loading up another robot version of herself and having sex with it, Brian Griffin style>ROBOTUS: It'd be about ego, he's her creation and a sign of her abilities, plus Reagan is slightly robosexual >Myc: Purely hate sex plus he's got plenty of tentacles>Gigi: Reagan's not quite bi but theoretically compatible romantically with women. If there were one woman in the show Reagan would probably be open to banging, it'd probably be her. Still one of the least likely of the Cognito staff, but I could see it happening.
I'd love one of these high concept shows to be more than just the animator's therapy session.
>>150163149Why? It's perfect as it is.
>>150152061Reagan's sneakers are cool, anyone else agree?
>>150152061I'd say it was similar to Venture Bros but with secret societies. I actually really like the show, don't know why it got cancelled.
>>150162532It's obvious they were setting it up or they wouldn't have written out her love interest.
>>150163082more Reagan feet pls
>>150164572it was likely office politics that got it canned because it was plenty popular enough and it's not like they stopped making animated projects
>>150164572>>150164918Netflix invested in a bunch of animated programs around 2018 and even started it's own in house animation studio, a lot of these were expensive but creator friendly basically letting it's creators do whatever they wanted to do content wise. Than around 2022 as we were coming out of the covid era netflix started hemorrhaging subscribers, lost like 200,000 in a month or something. So rather than try to address the cause of it Netflix instead starting cutting content and purging shows and it's animation department was the first and hardest hit. They gutted theor animation studio and purged almost every in house animated show in production including Inside JobTl;dr netflix gutted their entire animation department regardless of popularity to save money because animation is expensive, and even netflix doesn't see animation as a legitimate entertainment medium, because they were in a free fall losing subscribers
>>150165297Not surprised. A lot of their animated originals were pure dogshit. But there were a few gems despite it all.
