>Shrek (2001): directed by Andrew Adamson and Victoria Jenson>Shrek 2 (2004): directed by Andrew Adamson, Kelly Asbury and Conrad Vernon>Shark Tale (2004): directed by Victoria Jenson, Eric "Bibo" Bergeron and Rob Letterman I know what's missing here in Shrek 2.
This one was co-directed by Kelly Asbury and Conrad Vernon and not by Victoria Jenson, so that make this film automatically garbage. It's missing the Jenson's touch and needed less of the juvenile and acerbic Vernon's style of humor.
Shrek 2 was the first mainstream CGI movie to be completely uninspired. Say what you will about Shark Tale or Robots or Chicken Little, but they aren't uninspired movies.
I’d say it’s a much better movie than Sharktale at least as a random example off of the top of my head
