Funny how this is the complete opposite of how Barbara felt about killing Joker in Three Jokers. Personally I prefer her wanting his death, it's just more natural.

Obviously, Loeb's writing isn't as good as it used to be, but Jim Lee's art is still excellent. It's a breath of fresh air after years of Mora, Jimenez, and their copycats' awful anime-like style, not to mention Dragotta's abomination, which shouldn't even be called "art".I miss when we had good artists like Jim drawing Batman.

Writers should understand that catching the reader by surprise is not a goal. You're not supposed to aim for that.
