Animaniacs was never very good, but the reboot was written by a bunch of Californian nepobabies living in their own bubble and totally ignorant of anything outside it, so it's especially terrible. It might be among the most obnoxious cartoons of all time.

Who the fuck cares, Animaniacs was always cancer, it was the precursor to all writer-driven slop shows that would go on to shit up the industry, animators weren't given enough freedom while working on it and it was written by people who barely know jack shit about animation, they have the most stereotypical cartoon plots ever , it's like the Wacky World of Tex Avery but with shitty pop culture references.Ren & Stimpy, Rocko, Dexters Lab, Ed Edd & Eddy, those shows are all remembered a lot more than this shit cause they were actually entirely cartoonist driven, the animators put in their effort for the Spielberg cartoons but they're just writer driven shit. You got talented people like Eddie Fitzgerald and Jim Smith working on Tiny Toons but the prior said in an interview with Spumdonor that those shows weren't as cartoonist friendly as the Spumco stuff.
