The original series had an oddly optimistic message through all the edginess. It was also the only thing that was vaguely passable about the series. Badlands was exactly as bad as people think it is. I haven't read 100 despite being written by Moore because of the nu-speak being annoying yo read.No adaptation will follow through on the unhinged gore, which was one basically all the set the premise aside from a zombie story. Crossed just made the "Humans are the real monsters" messaging of all other zombie stories 10x more overt by literally saying that's what it makes them do. Without showing that there's no meaning to it.The movie will be a dud. No reason to hope for anything.
