How does one ice skate up hill. A hill implies a vertical slop of landform. But if you are ice skating then that's on a frozen body of water?

O guess the more important topic. Is that I heard rumors that they cancelled the blade movie and were going to put him in midnight suns, however it seems now that Blade in midnight suns is going to be in Marvel Zombies.

Blades also in Marvel Rivals, so that's neat.

Man From Florida Doesn't Understand Winter

I can trivially think of few ways to get ice on a slope :

- freezing rain: the ground is below 0C and it's raining. Droplets come down very cold, and instantly freeze on the ground.
- frozen slush: the ground is covered in snow. It rains. The snow becomes waterlogged but not so much it starts to flow down hill. Rain stops, temperature drops, slush freezes to ice
- hard packed snow: ground is covered in snow. snow is trampled down or compressed. sun comes out and warms the surface just enough that a thin layer of water forms. sun goes away, that top layer freezes to a film of ice on top of hard snow.
