Imagine that you have to pick 2 shows from the last 25 pilots made by CN to put the channel back on the map and bring gen alpha in. Which 2 do you choose?

Mouth Wash Madness could be their answer to The Loud House

Trick Moon is the only one of those I watched.

Sunshine Brownstone and Beetle and Bean/The All-nimal

>LEFT: Full of bland interchangeable "safe" designs that appeal to corporate executives.
>RIGHT: Full of visually distinct and creative visuals, but almost every design is unappealing.
Most of these pilots shouldn't have been created in the first place.

Only watched Trick Moon, gave me Ok K.O. vibes so I'd pick it and... jfc nearly everything else looks like more AT or RS type cancer, guess my 2nd choice would be either Dang! It's Dracula or Off The Menu.

If I'm thinking about what 5 year olds actually like? Sunshine Brownstone is like the obvious choice because it looks intentionally very stupid and annoying.

Where did the diversity in artstyles go?

>Dang! It's Dracula
>The Wonderful Wingits
>Fruit Stand at the End of the World
I know you said two, but I don't care.

Buttons gamezone and good boy report
>>
>>150173556
Off the Menu and Pig in a Wig have 90's styled artstyles that stick out, Buttons Gamezone looks pretty wacky and 90's-adjacent too seeing that Fernando P has worked on modern Looney Tunes stuff.

If I had to pick any of these pilots to get picked up it'd probably be one of those.

Trick moon + Harmony and Despair
Only two pilots there people discuss well after they aired here

Trick Moon and Splitting Time

Unraveled or Fruit Stand a the End of the World- for the experimental animation and Off the Menu- made by an animation veteran

Too expensive

I always thought the cheapening of art styles was to be like Adult Swim: cheap animation focused on dialogue. But even low-budget animation on Adult swim had a variety of styles. Home Movies, ATHF, 8oz Mouse, Squidbillies, etc. They even had some intensive animations like Superjail!.
This is just "all adult animation being like Family Guy/Rick and Morty" but for kid cartoons. I bet big wigs ask for shows to be like the beanmouth-style because they think it will make it have wide appeal (which is sort of true since there are successful beanmouth shows)

the straight white men who actually cared about animation got booted out of the industry and replaced by nepotism and "diverse, unique voices" who all unfortunately have the same sense of humor and the same, shabby level of talent
