I don't recall this show ever getting a specific thread dedicated to it, probably because I assume it was a preschool show (IDK, I haven't seen it since I was 5). Apparently, not every episode is available online (atleast not in english)

I like the siamese siamese cat
>>
I heard from Facebook (via a post) that there was a potsticker episode. Does anyone know what that episode was about?
>>
I think it aired on PBS.

It was on PBS, the no cable network
>>
I really only made this thread because I wanted to know about the potsticker episode and what episode that was
>>
reminds me of chop socky chooks

I remember being told that sagwa is like a slur for retards in china
is that true
>>
>>150172675
Yes. I had vague memories of it and had trouble finding information about it when I was older (~8th grade or so when I became more seriously interested in animation, born in 1999). It was an early experience of mine with the feeling of "Orientalism"

I remember to not forget my umbrella.

The Magistrate really loved noodles.

>>
>>150172675
It's canadian, I think?
>>
I remember really liking it a lot as a kid and looking forward to it, even though nothing ever happened in the show. I just really like Chinese shit, maybe why I got into AtLA later

>It was an early experience of mine with the feeling of "Orientalism"
It was made by a Chinese American women
Then again so was Xiaolin Showdown which was way goofier and stereotypical. I kinda miss the American fascination with china around this time period

>>150172675
I hated it. I regarded it as a waste of a Saturday Morning Cartoon slot.
>>
>>150172675
I remember Sagwa.

Canadian-American

So I guess nobody here remembers what the potsticker episode was?
>>
>>150175581
You could probably find it in Spanish.
It had some popularity in Mexico of all places.
>>
>>150175581
lost media

The Magistrate was an idiot; his wife was actually running the town in his name. I suspect that's a pretty common Asian trope.

The only episode I can recall off-hand was the one with the tea-harvesting monkeys, I guess the concept was bizarre enough to be memorable.
>>
>>150172675
idk
>>
Kek I watched this as I kid but I thought you guys were trolling saying it's lost media, but some of these episodes are fucked up and have stitched together audio of some guy recording the sound coming from his TV, others are straight up VHS tapes, and a couple episodes are completely missing but most of them are there
