Chuck's Formerly Sneed's
>>
>>150173617
Probably the one where Ned has inherited debts from his father from the Mafia. I think it was a 2 partner parody of Fargo
>>
>>150173617
I haven't watched the show regularly in about 20 years and I have no real desire to sit through 20 seasons to find out.
>>
>>150173617
please anon, no. it's sad
>>
I'm just gonna list all the ones I watched because others mentioned them, it wasn't a lot
>A Totally Fun Thing Bart Will Never Do Again
The ending kinda worked but unremarkable
>Halloween of Horror
This was mentioned a lot because it's the first non-Treehouse Halloween ep and Lisa acts more like a kid. Got a few chuckles out of it
>A Serious Flanders
This is a 2-parter parody of prestige TV. It's alright, I'm sure the writers were happy not to be shackled to continuity
>Boyz n the Highlands
What they did with Martin here was kinda funny
>Pixelated and Afraid
I figure people liked this one because it's a Homer and Marge bonding ep. Meh
>>
>>150173617
I'll rattle off a few myself:

>Lisa the Boy Scout
I had been dreaming for years that they'd do a fake clip show. This did not disappoint.
>A Mid-Childhood Night's Dream
Easily the best Marge episode in a couple of decades.
>Bart's Birthday
Surprisingly creative, and manages to make every series-finale cliche feel like something out of the Twilight Zone.
>O C'mon, All Ye Faithful
Homer is accidentally hypnotized into thinking he's Santa, leading to Ned having a crisis of faith. This not only makes total sense in context, but is legitimately heartfelt.
>The Road to Cincinnati
It's a road-trip episode with Skinner and Chalmers. Enough said.
>The Dad-Feelings Limited
A shockingly strong CBG episode, with Kumiko getting to be an actual character, and Dan Aykroyd as CBG's father, Postage Stamp Fellow.
>>

Any lisa fan service episode
>>
>>150173617
Pixelated and Afraid was great.
>>
>anons posting the episodes names instead of the season they are from and their #
>>
>>150175664
If only there was some vast trove of information online that allowed one to search titles as easily as episode numbers.
>>

>>150174325
These are rock-solid lists... wow, I'm impressed.

I'll stick to seasons 27~ and add:
>Fland Canyon
Just a fun road trip episode that flashes back to an earlier era for The Flanders Clan and The Simpsons. Fun seeing Maude again.
>There Will Be Buds
Homer forced to spend time with Kirk as coaches for kid's lacrosse. Odd premise but Kirk is a riot in this episode.
>Homer Is Where the Art Isn't
Art goes missing with Homer the chief suspect. Only an art investigator straight out if the 70's can get to the bottom of this.
>Forgive and Regret
Abe reveals a deep dark secret to Homer on what he thinks is his death bed... only to recover, leaving the situation between father and son strained.
>'Tis the 30th Season
When Christmas shopping is ruined The Simpsons go to Florida to forget their winter misery... realizing too late that Florida brings its own misery.
>Livin La Pura Vida
The Van Houten's invite a few families to their hitherto unmentioned Costa Rica family resort. The Simpsons go on the trip despite lacking the funds necessary to cover the expenses.
>Todd, Todd, Why Hast Thou Forsaken Me?
Todd Flanders realizes that he is starting to forget his mother, and he questions his beliefs in God as a result. I don't know why I like this one so much, I'm not even religious but there's something so sincere in this episode.
>Sorry Not Sorry
Lisa treats her Miss Hoover like crap but, as usual, she thinks she's justified. After being confronted with her cruelty Lisa finally realizes how awful she was. My go-to episode for this season is the Cincinnati episode with Skinners and Chalmers and CBG and Kumiko having baby thoughts but those were already mentioned... this one is a strong 3rd place. I also like Manger Things but only the end when you find out Todd's middle name.
>geez... you guys already mentioned everything good in season 32... I guess "You Won't Believe What This Episode Is About" because the angry short guy in anger management is funny.

MoneyBart
It's where Lisa coaches Bart's team with analytics and Bart hates it cause he's not having fun and they end up fighting. In the final game Bart agrees to help Lisa by being a pinch runner and he steals 2nd and 3rd. He steals home and is tagged out and the Isotopes lose but Lisa isn't mad cause it was an exciting play and they make up.

I like that episode where Larry dies. It was gimmicky but Moe saved the episode by how unhinged he was. Moe is funny when he's amoral and greedy rather than being depressed and suicidal

Bart's Birthday was cool because only The Simpsons could make an episode premise like that work

Just looking at this screencap, I don't like how many needless details the newer seasons have
>>
The episode where Bart becomes a League of Legends pro and Homer becomes a Buddhist. What a dog shit ending
>>
>>150177374
>and Homer becomes a Buddhist
How does Lisa respond?

Out of curiosity I watched the higher-rated episodes starting with S27
>Barthood
Centered on Bart on different stages of his life. I generally like episodes that take place in the near future (or at least with the characters having aged) and this was no exception
>A Serious Flanders 1-2
That one that's been mentioned here as a parody of prestige TV, and not tied to continuity. I liked it too
>Treehouse of Horror XXXIII
First story was Marge getting possessed by an evil book taking advantage of her reppressed resentment, and Maggie trying to save her. The second one is the Death Note parody with actual Death Note animators and anime'd designs. The third one takes place on a theme park where the Homer animatronic gains sentience. Pretty solid lineup
>Bart's Birthday
Mentioned here, too. Parodying various tropes for series finales

Barthood was my favorite of these

I don't switch the channels when I find Simpsons on the TV, nu-Simpsons is borderline unwatchable, however I found 1(won) gag that made me heh
>Lisa imagines meeting Adolphe Sax (inventor of the saxophone)
>he says "Ahh, Adolphe, a name that will be forever be known for good music"

If you see a #thesimpsons in the bottom right corner, it's safe to assume the episode is crap.
>>
>>150180895
being an HD episode and in 16:9 is already a dead giveaway

The Lego episode surprised me on how decent it was.

What season

>>150182279
You can literally Google “Simpsons Lego episode” and find the answer in the same amount of time it took you to post that.
>>
The Treehouse of Horror which changes the ending of Cape Feare so that Sideshow Bob does kill Bart
>>
>>150183154
It's always super trippy when they recreate the classic cel-animated look
>>
>>150173617
>watching current Simpson
Why would I ever do that?
>>
>>150178476
>Treehouse of Horror XXXIII
That and “Simpsons Wicked This Way Comes” are the best Halloween offerings in recent years.
