I think there are way too many retellings of the gospels of Jesus. Just stick to the source material and the passion of the Christ. There are so many other biblical stories that can be done like apocalypse, the book of enoch, and the story of Job
It's directed by Tom Bancroft so maybe The animation looks a little on the cheap side, I wish it moved a bit more like Secret of Kells, which looks like it heavily inspired the look
