>Daisy Bell
Oh hey it's that song that's famously known to be sung by AI. Jax and Pomni are singing the song that AI sings.

Yeah that's not an accident. They're AI. Maybe modelled after a real person's brain snapshot. Maybe not.

Retard
>>
It wasn't AI. It was literally just a programmed machine. You're confusing the 2001 reference as the origin point.
>>
>>150186182
all AI are programmed machines
>>
>>150186220
Okay, I'll be more direct since you're being more obtuse.
The IBM 7094 that sung Daisy Bell in 1961 was not given the guise of artificial intelligence.
>>
>>150186182
Don't forget that time Pomni floated out into the void. Space Odyssey did that that thing too. Granted it's a conventional visual effect that deserves no credit.
It's like all zoomers these days are autistic germans that see everything as plagiarism, and unironically commit violence against humanity because they want recognition and reputation, or something.
>>
>>150185710
They are singing it specifically because caine was singing it so much that zooble started to hate it
>>
>>150185710
>Oh hey it's that song that's famously known to be sung by AI
No, it was a machine programmed to synthesize sound in a way that sounded close to human vocals which was demo'd with the song daisy bell to the press. In fact there was two machines, one to do the piano chords and the other the vocals along with it.

But if you mean to apply their avatars were programmed by their own conciousnesses to sing Daisy Bell, like the the example you cite with a machine being programmed by a human opperator to "sing", then yes.
>>
>>150186292
what is writing?
>>
>>150186279
that really doesn't effect the narrative implication
>>
>>150186371
It effects your implication of being foreshadowing for an AI reveal. That being there is none
>>
>>150186395
Ok, you tell me what the literary significance of picking that specific song. again, wasn't an accident
>>
>>150186419
At the start of the episode zooble stated that cine was singing that song outside their door and it was creepy. Caine is an AI and so has all of the AI implications of picking that song. Pomni and Jax started singing it specifically because they knew it would annoy zooble due to zooble telling them it was being sing by Caine.
>>
>>150186419
There is none. The literary signficance you are trying to cite is that the reference is based on AI singing, but that historical event had nothing to do with AI. It's the equivalent of someone seeing Homer Simpson eating a donut and saying it is literatlly implication of Jesus breaking donuts for his followers on the mount despite him hin breaking bread, but then trying yo excuse it because donuts are somewhat adjacent to bread.
>>
>>150186371
I mean, it does.
It could literally just imply they are in a computer.
Which we already know to be the case.
>>
>>150185710
Anon. Zooble told them that Caine sung it.
CAINE is an AI.
They're just doing it to annoy Zooble.
In mimicry of Caine.
The AI, Caine.
>>
>>150186513
>saying it is literary implication*
>>
>>150186492
>At the start of the episode zooble stated that
the decision to have them sing it came before the setup, obviously
>>150186513
>writers just pick things at random with no thought lol
the actual state of american education. this show is wasted on you.

Ok faggot, what "literary significance" has this stupid candy lizard doing the taunts from that stupid ass annoying game?

Does it imply that

a) This particular NPC is also a player since the only one who does that kind of stunt is the protag of pizza tower

or most likely

b) Is a reference to something that got poppular on the internet and simply decided to put it in because, fuck it why not.

Now taking this into account, what's more plausible? They doing a random reference to a funny song from the internet or they trying to do an extremely convoluted and unnecessarily complex foreshadowing.

Go on, think about it for a second, I'll wait.
>>
>>150186537
you're confusing the in-universe reason for the literary reason
>>
>>150186603
Sometimes the blue curtains means the curtains are fucking blue.
>This show is wasted on you.
How does someone become this much of a retard?
>>
>>150186612
>lizard doing the taunts from that stupid ass annoying game?
it's funny?
holy shit you really think either everything has to have deep subtext or nothing can? how bad did you fail English?
>>
>>150186655
But the in universe reason already implies a literary reason. That the character who we know is AI made a 2001: A Space Odyssey reference. It's a joke.
>>
This is a dumb way of trying to get across the SOMA theory
>>
>>150186673
>Sometimes the blue curtains means the curtains are fucking blue.
you actually believe the song was chosen randomly, and they planned and animated the whole duet because of zooble's setup. Your cause and effect are so backwards. The setup was done in service of the duet, not the other way around.
>>
>>150186678
There's your answer fag.
They made them sing Daisy Bell because it's funny/it's a catchy song that is related to digital media.

Is not that deep.
>>
>>150186708
>It's a joke
the duet isn't played for laughs
>>
>>150186743
you have no media literacy and the show is wasted on you. you actually don't deserve something this good.
>>
>>150186721
The song was chosen as something x
Caine would sing to the point of driving zooble crazy, and thus something pomni and jax would take advantage of. Caine is the ai.
>>
>>150186721

It wasn't chosen randomly, like I said, it's a reference, that's it.

You don't have the braincells to actually analyze a good piece of media? Or you don't have the audience to do it with so that's why you are trying to ragebait (you)s from anons that hate the SOMA possibility?
>>
>>150186769
Here is your (you) you fucking Character.ai faggot.
>>
I want to add that soma possiblity is the opposite of them being AIs. AI means artificial intelligence, a brain scan running on a computer is very much not artificial, it has a natural source.
>>
>>150186655
The literary reason is because Gooseworx wanted to have Jax and Pomni sing a duet, and so set up a comedic reference enabling them to do so. It was for the actors to have a moment, not the characters.
>>
>>150186523
Daisy Bell isn't sung by "people in a computer" it's sung by computers. And the original instance is specifically a computer that was designed to mimic human speech.

It's a song that's sung by a computer that's being given the facade of a person

Any of this clicking yet?
>>
Zooble said it was caine that was singing daisy bell. Caine is the AI.
The only reason jax and pomni sang it was to annoy zooble.
>>
>>150187215
Yeah, Caine sang it. A computer program mimicking a human. Duh
>>
>>150185710
Maybe don't watch brain rot shit
>>
>>150185710
This really didn't deserve it's own thread.
>>
>>150188126
TADC isn't "brain rot" anything unless you just mean this poster is so retarded he must be on something else
