Some anime does this too, where it's like they go out of their way to show men do not exist when there are crowd shots in a city street. This isn't based in any sort of Spanish soap opera or Almodovar cliche either. It's pure autism. The creator is a dude too.Otherwise I think it's charming and surprisingly funny.
