>>
Hungry.

or
>Dang, that hamburger looks like shit.

When I see my native food animated, I assume it comes with dancing fat people in a GrubHub ad.
>>
I don’t think they’ve put In N Out in a cartoon yet
>>
>>150190637
Wow they showed Koreans eating dog meat

Where can I go to see Korean food everywhere? I see more Chinese food everywhere
>>
>>150191268
Los Angeles or New York City. Try not to get stabbed by a mexican or black.

>>150190637
I've never seen it, they keep using the name but it looks nothing like what its supposed to look like
>>
>>150190637
Does Korea not produce any animation of their own? How has she never seen Korean food animated before?

Korean food is pretty good, I'll eat the fuck out of some spicy pork bulgogi or tteokbokki. I only wish I didn't have to drive an hour away just to eat it.

It’s on the more chill side as far as boards go. Plus, any stupid arguments or banter become instantly funny because it could be about something as trivial as using regular salt instead of pink salt

>>
>>150190637
I'm so sick of this, someone needs to call these people out. They're literally just making this crap up. No, really. They are LYING! They don't actually feel this way.

And newsflash, Korea MAKES ANIMATED MOVIES. You can see hundreds of movies with Korean cuisine animated.

And they DIDN'T EVEN EAT KOREAN FOOD! These second generation immigrants are comletely divorced from their culture and unironically embrace a form of pan-Asianism that they used to shame us for. It's like saying Samurais know Kung Fu. It had:
> Kimbap (Sushi. They speak a different language so they have their own term, but it's sushi i.e. Japanese.)
> Oden (Japanese fish skewer soup. They eat it, but it's Japanese.)
> Instant Ramen (Japanese)
> Peperro (Pokki. It's Japanese)
> Boba Tea (Thai)

Like, if they wanted to make it "Korean" they could've eaten Tteokbokki, Bibimbap, Stone soup (it's an umbrella term they just serve lots of different soups in a stone bowl that keeps it hot. Sort of the concept of a fajita plate but with soups), Oxtail, KIMCHI, Bulgogi, Dough soup, Japchae, there are lots of things. But those wouldn't have been as MARKETABLE as doing the popular ones from Japan that kids see in anime. Ok, fine. Fair. I get that. But if you're going to do that I'm not sitting here and listening to this disingenuous chick lie and act like this was HER CULCHA!!!

>I cried,” she admitted.

>“I just want to say I do not cry that often," she continued. "But I was releasing fat tears at the Netflix screening.”

>The aspect of the film that moved her the most was surprising: the food.

>“This is weird, but what got me, what really got me, was seeing Korean food animated,” Nuna said. “I was like, this is the shit I used to hide as a kid going to school in second grade. This is a new era.”
>>
>>150196396

eloquently said.

I'm guessing italian, then?
>>
>>150196301
to be fair, the US basically started the ''revisionism is okay if you have victim status'' trend
they were using a Japanese term for kimbap until their govt told them not to in the mid 1990s. now it's ''inappropriate'' call it sushi. it's over.

So the food court in a Midwestern towns dilapidated shopping mall servs food as "authentic" as the grubhub animated slop she's blubing over.
>>
>>150196777
NTA but it's nationalism. For many Koreans, claiming or implying that those aren't just Japanese means something.
They would be so fucking mad like you wouldn't believe if Japan or China did the same kind of shit to Korea, but it's kinda okay to do that to Japan.
>>
>>150190637
I feel the same way, every single time I see American food animated I cry and share it with everyone I can. Not so much the novelty of representation or nothing j just really like burgers

And? It's still part of American cuisine that stretches back to the colonial era, are you going to discredit Cornish pasty because it's often served and eaten in a pub?

A quick disclaimer to any In N Out first timers.
It's the best fast food burger for the price, not the best burger period.
It's beloved by Californians because they make an effort to keep the price down without sacrificeing quality and they are good to their employees.
Lyndsi Snyder is a treasure, she used to race stock cars untill the kidnapping attempt.
