What hell is wrong with Spider-Man editorial?

USM was fucking boring with a few cool parts, Spider-Man disappears for extended periods and MJ barely got any development or didn't anything cool until the end. Felt like the writer was phoning it in. The TAS art is hilarious bad! Peter looks like Gollum from the 60s hobbit movie. And the Book with MJ and Pete at the restaurant was LAME!!!!

THESE BOOKS ARE CONTAINMENT!!! BAD CONTAINMENT!!!

ASM run has been, eh, uninteresting until Peter got to space with a 0% chance it stays interesting.

and now MARY JANE IS GOING TO FUCK FLASH THOMPSON!!!! THIS IS WORSE THAN PAUL!!!! WHAAAAAT!?!?

Why cant the weird cuck shit be in the alternate universe and the main universe have MJ and Peter Married raising kids? Why am I the bad guy for wanting Peter and MJ to have a cool marriage going on awesome adventures with thier knucklehead kids in the 616 universe!

Why am I the bad guy for wanting Peter and Mj to be together; to want catharsis.

I just read the latest ASM and it was a fucking riot every time Norman was speaking about "the dream".

What fucking dream, when Spider-Man has been dragged through the mud for decades now? When in-universe nobody respects the poor fucker and are consistently embarrassed of being around him? When any dipshit can just copy his suit, take his name, and then join the ranks of people ashamed of being associated with him? Hell, this very same issue lampshades how utterly atrocious Spider-Man's quipping has gotten and how in-universe everyone finds it lame.

The most insightful line in the issue was the alien pointing out that Peter was lowkey happy to be free from his nightmare life on Earth. To not suffer the curse of being 21st Century Spider-Man.

I read curren ASM only for the Stormin' Norman and even I started to get bored. Hid redemption was interesting fora while, but now even he was dragged into that constant misery porn. No character development, no significant moments, nothing. Just constant, unfiltered woe is me, it's getting boring.
