I'm too lazy too write out the entire synopsis but the entire plot of the show is that zombie Thanos dies thanks to Carol in the first episode and the stones are spread across the world like dragon balls, the show is them trying to collect the stones so they can undo everything that's happened after learning about thanos original plan with the stones and learning the power of the complete set of stones >Wanda is the big bad guy and it's revealed that she has human level intelligence and can communicate, her plan is to collect the stones and use it to recreate the darkhold so that she can travel across the multiverse and feed infinitely and spread the virus. >The virus itself is retconned into being a piece of the darkhold itself that hid in the quantum realm after MoM ended with Wanda destroying all copies of the book across the multiverse >Blade and Namor met sometime in the 1920s when blade mistook a rogue Taklokinil as a vampire, that's why Blade seems to know who Namor.>This interaction is suppose to carry on over to the main MCU as well>Deaths include: Marc Spector (off screen), Death Dealer, Baron Zemo, Hercules (Off Screen he's already a zombie), Thor, Valkyrie, Black Panther, Scott, Red Guardian, Kate Bishop,>Guardians are helping Carol quarantine the planet so that the virus doesn't spread outside earth, Guardians are namedropped only >Background Zombies/Dead Bodies with no lines or anything to do include: Punished, Matt Murdock, Kingpin, Korg, Jennifer Walters is mentioned by name but no confirmation on her status
>They changed it so Carol isn't a zombieStrange
>>150192709When?Did I ask?
>>150192709>CTRL+F>SpiderDon't care. The only reason why anyone is talking about this is because of pic related. First time in animation where Spidey will shoot to kill.
Pretty gay. Marvel Zombies was carried by the fact that it was centered on the zombies, who were styled more after Return of the Living Dead: intelligent and aware but so compelled by the virus and the pain of hunger that every fiber of their being is focused on that singular instinct to eat people. The heroes being twisted by the compulsion into being ravenous shamblers and having to "live" with the monsters they've become is way more interesting than just a few survivors cutting through hordes of mooks, except once in a while one of them will be wearing a hero's costume and maybe have special attacks.
>>150194108>>150192709>the stones are spread across the world like dragon ballsReminds me of a spic DB fanfic in which the Marvel Zombies virus spreads to the Dragon Ball universe, starting with Goku. The plot follows Goku and Gohan as zombies as they eat all the living creatures in the DB universe. And in the end, Beerus ends the zombie threat, but despite that Lord Zeno erases Universe 7.

Bump
>>150192709>>>The virus itself is retconned into being a piece of the darkhold itself that hid in the quantum realm after MoM ended with Wanda destroying all copies of the book across the multiverseIs it really a retcon if they never had a solid origin or explanation to begin with?
>>150196236It's not a retcon because the movies don't follow the comic continuity at all.
>>150196236Wasn't it originally some kind of Brood fuckery?I think I remember the Brood planting eggs in Galactus' corpse, and the hatching brood inherited the hunger, making it parasitic.
>>150192709They didn't have the balls to do actual marvel zombies and had to shoehorn Carol huhActually believable leak
>>150192709>>Blade and Namor met sometime in the 1920s when blade mistook a rogue Taklokinil as a vampire, that's why Blade seems to know who Namor.>>This interaction is suppose to carry on over to the main MCU as wellWhy the fuck can't they write out El Nino Sin Amor and do a proper white chad Namor? Aquaman isn't even in the plans for Gunn.
>>150196405Another Zombie universe. The original zombie virus from what I remember was also a supernatural like entity that only specifically targeted superheroes
The retcon is probably because the what if episode has it be a virus Janet Van Dyne caught right before hank found her
>>150197093This. Don't expect comic Marvel Zombies at all. This is just a continuation of that What If episode.
>>150193782She's basically there to tell Earth there on there own and to not attempt to leave the planet or else her and the guardians will blow the ship up. There is a post credit scene where Peter broke quarantine and rescued his Grandpa sometime during the show off screen and are going back to knowhere, the shot shows that his grandpa had an injury implying that he's infected and now the virus is going universal
>>150197222That's bleak. I guess not all for nothing since It's contained to one universe since I assume Zombie Wanda dies by the end.
>>150192709>after learning about thanos original plan with the stonesWas it still cutting the population of the universe it half? Wouldn't it make sense to just make it double for more food?>Marc Spector (off screen) deathDamn.>Jennifer Walters is mentioned by name but no confirmation on her statusHope she's dead. Not even turned, just dead.
>>150197222>>150197383That guy isn't me, I already said the Guardians are only name dropped and don't show up in the show. And yes she does die, the gauntlet is used to reverse the zombie infection but any zombies that are dead dead don't come back, for some reason. Here's some more spoilers >The Eternals are half-infected due to being synthetic and resemble Kirkmans original zombies the most with the show with them constantly having to fight the urge. >The Raft is one of the most secure human colonies on the planet. Due to it being in the middle of the ocean and hidden underwater it's harder for Wanda's horde to find however the scene where Namor shows up from the trailer is the destruction of the Raft.>There is a timeskip between the first episode and second (5 years). Zombie Wanda coming back after being trapped by Strange Supreme in what if is a plot point as she was gone for the duration of the timeskip and assembles a horde to find the infinity stones since she saw the power first hand fighting infinity Ultron. She destroys smaller colonies on land as she assembles her army
>wasted Punisher and daredevilwelp.
What about Ikaris? The skrulls and the raft? Those characters were either featured in the new trailer or were shown in early concept art.Additionally what's your take on the show's quality overall. Animation and most importantly story wise. The trailer didn't look half bad but even in that two minute clip there was your usual insufferable marvel quips and the plot points here aren't too promising either
>>150197546See for information on the raft and Eternals >>150197527As for the Skrulls, there's a group of Biker Skrulls in Nevada. SABER space station isn't shown but were told that an infected skrull went up there and caused an outbreak forcing fury to blow it all up killing most of the Skrulls. The Skrulls are able to scan recent memories of the zombies and the biker Skrulls use it to help the group find one of the infinity stones. It's implied one of the non superhero survivors is actually a skrull but that is never expanded upon. As for the humor, it's typical MCU slop stuff but now they say SHIT and FUCK. Aside from that the action sequences are some of the best Marvel Animation has put out. I wouldn't expect anything mind bending but it is just that type of " turn off your brain" type show
Assuming you're legit. Here's a bunch of random questions:1. What happens to Spidey in the end?2. From the voice cast US Agent has a role, How big is it? And what about the other thunderbolts in general like Taskmaster etc?3. Do they at least try to explain how ridiculous it is for certain Uber powerful heroes to get turned easily, whiles human level characters like Yelena don't?4. What happened to Hulk? Lastwe saw him he was getting dog piled. Does he end up getting turned?5. Also any explanation for the inactivity of Asgard here? Per the shows timeline the refugee Asgardians should have been making their way towards earth?6. What happened to the cure Vision discovered?7. Where do the various wind up and who ends up actually doing the reversal snap to save the day. Please tell me it's not Carol
>>1501977271. What happens to Spidey in the end? > Survives, he's about his early 20's in the show, he's the protector of the soul stone and is actively hunted by Wanda 2. From the voice cast US Agent has a role, How big is it? And what about the other thunderbolts in general like Taskmaster etc? >Not that big, hes a normal human survivor not a super soldier since the events of end game and Falcon and Winter Soldier never happen. He's one of the head of security at the raft and dies during Namors attack. Taskmaster dead3. Do they at least try to explain how ridiculous it is for certain Uber powerful heroes to get turned easily, whiles human level characters like Yelena don't? >Aside from "hiding and don't get bit" no4. What happened to Hulk? Last we saw him he was getting dog piled. Does he end up getting turned? >Flashback has him getting killed by Wanda, early scripts had him take Abominations role and was called the "Immortal Hulk" but that was dropped in favor of just using abomination 5. Also any explanation for the inactivity of Asgard here? Per the shows timeline the refugee Asgardians should have been making their way towards earth? >Asgardians do head to earth but are turned and folded into Wanda's undead army, Valkyrie was a survivor but dies fighting the army. Thor dies as in this time line the Guardians never found him floating in space6. What happened to the cure Vision discovered? >The cure has to do with the Soul Stone, the point was that the soul stone could emit a frequency that could cure the infected but to distribute it world wide requires the resources of Wakanda which is destroyed by Zombie Thanos, the first episode is about this.7. Where do the various wind up and who ends up actually doing the reversal snap to save the day. Please tell me it's not CarolCarol is Zombified by the end of the show, it's Shang-Shi who uses the rings to protect himself from dying but the rings are destroyed in the process
>>150197808How good is it with contunity?
>>150197808Thanks.But wait, aren't the infinity stones already OP by themselves. Like the whole plot of Thor Dark world was Malekith was about plunge the realms into darkness with just the reality stone. So my question is what exactly is preventing the other stone weilders from stopping the zombie apocalypse with even just one stone? Also who are the other stone weilders
>>150197808So, how does it end? Is there a cliffhanger sequel b8 or something? I assume no unexpected cameos.
>>150197865What do you mean? >>150197925Most don't know how to use the stones properly or the stones kill them when using it, most of the stone users in the movie required some sort of device to power it without dying with the exception of the eye of agamotto.>Also who are the other stone weildersThere's no stone wielders aside from Spider-Man who's guarding it>>150197946No sequel bait, Snap that turns most of the undead back to normal and society rebuilds. This is suppose to be a one and done but if the series does well enough, there considering revisiting the Zombies-verse with an anthology series focused on different survivors ala how the Wakanda show
>Guardians are namedropped onlyAnybody else starting to get the impression Marvel doesn't want to use the guardians anymore now that Gunn has dipped to help their rivals?Their certainly petty enough to do something like that based on how they treated the inhumans Heck, I don't think we've heard any of the old guardians actors coming back either for secret wars or endgame despite literally who's from the fox X-Men era returning.
>>150198009>What do you mean?I mean is there anyone sort of contunity errors to what was happening in the mcu at that point?
>>150198040I think the only one I can think of is Thor dying as the Zombie apocalypse at that point wouldn't have thrown the guardians off course to Thors last location. Also just realized I got the soul stone and mind stone mixed up, whoops
>>150197808The hatred of NBC comes not from Hulk, but from Colin Jost's marriage to Scarlet Johansen, Hulk is merely the scapegoat
>>150198014Star-Lord is the one member who is likely back (being teased at the end of Vol.3 and him appearing in leaked concept art); most other cast members have stated they're done with their roles.
>>150198083If you want potential rumors that aren't even off the drawing board and most definitely will change have Peter be the mentor character for the Young Avengers post Secret Wars
>>150192709This is real, my dad works at Nintendo.
>>150192709Yo OP. Out of curiosity does your intel on marvel end at just marvel zombies?, or you've got some other nuggets to share about their other projects? Specifically secret wars and Doomsday
>>150198167Just Zombies, we don't get any extra Intel on other marvel projects unless we're higher up on the food chain, were unique that were a one and done limited series that isn't connected to what's going on with the grander MCU so we aren't privy to anything else. I CAN tell you this though, No zombie content will be part of Doomsday or Secret wars. We were told specifically that Marvel Zombies parts of Battleworld from the comics are not going to be included in the next two avengers movies for obvious reasons.
>>150198207Aight. Makes sense. Thanks.A few more questions though.Any sequel bait or post credit teaser like your stereotypical marvel fair?Does the Watcher show up?You mentioned we missed out on zombie "Immortal Hulk". Any other somewhat cool idea that got scrapped?Any noteworthy set pieces or cool fight scenes/match ups? Preferably said fight should be done in such a way it doesn't trigger the autistic power level fag in meSpeaking of which, does it continue the trend of animated Thanos being a massive jobber for some reason? Also, what's Kamala's role here if they're actually trying to stick to the timeline meaning she hasn't got her powers yet?And finally do we see more young avengers?
>Any sequel bait or post credit teaser like your stereotypical marvel fair? Nope>Does the Watcher show up? He does Narration explaining the events of the episode from What If to catch you up to speed >You mentioned we missed out on zombie "Immortal Hulk". Any other somewhat cool idea that got scrapped? Yeah there was suppose to be a thing where the zombies are fused into iron man suits similar to Age of Ultron Vs Marvel Zombies but was written out since the zombies already had so many powerhouses already. Cap Zombie is the only one that stuck with him sticking himself to the low half of an Iron Man suit >Any noteworthy set pieces or cool fight scenes/match ups? Preferably said fight should be done in such a way it doesn't trigger the autistic power level fag in me Big End-Game style fight between Wanda's Horde of Zombies vs the survivors. Blade steals the show with the coolest scenes. The goriest fight of the show is Namors invasion of the Raft with countless survivors getting killed, turned and then killed again>Speaking of which, does it continue the trend of animated Thanos being a massive jobber for some reason? Yes he dies the first episode >Also, what's Kamala's role here if they're actually trying to stick to the timeline meaning she hasn't got her powers yet? She serves a similar role to Peter from the what if episode where she's the "heart" of the group. She has her bangles as she was hiding from her zombies family in the attic and was saved by Blade her Captain Marvel obsession is replaced with Blade. She doesn't know how to use her powers as they only activate when she's about to get bitten, her story is her trying to actually activate her powers so that she can help out. >And finally do we see more young avengers?Aside from Kate and Kamala no,
>>150192709This universe got lucky the infection didnt start with Zombie Sentry. Sad they got rid of all the cool shit for another Wanda girl boss story.
>>150198511>Wanda girl boss story. This seems like you wanting to be upset for the sake of being upset then any actual worry
What type of woke shit do they put in the show? Is a white man to blame for everything going wrong
>>150198742Kill yourself
>>150198009>No sequel bait, Snap that turns most of the undead back to normal and society rebuilds. This is suppose to be a one and done but if the series does well enough, there considering revisiting the Zombies-verse with an anthology series focused on different survivors ala how the Wakanda showOh. Meh, but it makes sense I suppose.>>150198014>Anybody else starting to get the impression Marvel doesn't want to use the guardians anymore now that Gunn has dipped to help their rivals?I believe it. How long has it been since they pushed them in the comics or multimedia anyhow? The game tanked, the recent books tanked, they've abandoned them. Now they're rebranding the title as "Imperial Guardians". I think it's very likely they'll focus on the Annihilators instead. An Annihilation movie is bound to happen, and from it they'll spin-off the Annihilators. Star-Lord, Warlock, Nova, probably Rocket still, something along those lines.
>>150198447What about the other powered heroes? Like Sentry? Are they implied to have been off-screened?
>>150192709Is Hulk even alluded to in any of this? He was shown to be immune to the virus in the original episode but his last appearance in that had him fighting Wanda with no clear winner confirmed, did she kill him?
>>150199891Oh nevermind >>150197808This sucks honestly, both that Hulk has to job once again in an MCU-adjacent show and that they barely ever adapt newer stuff from his mythos so to hell with the green door ever bringing him back.At least Zombie Hunter Peter survives, that's one thing I can look forward to.
>>150199891I thought He wasn't immune, his arm just turned into a hulk arm to prevent Wanda from breaking skin
>>150199965Bruce launched himself into a full horde of zombies in What If, then emerged as normal Hulk, it's pretty obvious that at least a few of those guys got to have a bite of Banner so I don't see how that wouldn't hint at Hulk being immune.
>>150200027Hmmm fair enough that would bring up the question on how the abomination was able to be RAPED
>>150192709What happened to Bucky?
>>150200271Obvious plot hole I suppose, I'll honestly take Blonsky jobbing over Hulk getting the short end of the stick for the umpteenth time.
