I liked The Owl House, even though a lot of this board didn't, I liked Molly McGee, I liked Smiling Friends, I liked Fionna and Cake if you count it as new, and I liked Kiff. But Stugo is tied with Smiling Friends for being the best of the decade, so I can see someone with higher standards believing this.

It's just one big part of a bigger issue about how executive controlled animation is these days, slop like Stugo and Haileys On It are only made to cash in on the success of prior shows (beanmouth loreshit from the 2010's) by having premises similar to them. Funnily enough, it isn't working anymore, Elio has caused people to hate on beanmouth and no adults wanna willingly watch shit like Stugo or BCG cause of how oversanitized and babyish kids tv is these days.Here's a character designers perspective on beanmouth that sheds a light on the issues with the style.
