Anytime I see the show come up, I think about how they completely wasted the gem side of the series after season 2. When they left that Zoo/Space station I genuinely believe they just gave up on every single aspect of it.

>>150207941I just finished rewatching it with some friends. It was better than I remembered. The pains of getting new SU episodes via Steven Bombs is long since gone. I think the show went the cowardly route at the end by turning the Space Hitlers into Steven's homophobic aunts he just needed to put his foot down at, but the message it decided to say at the end was still strong by itself.
